The Beko BDFB1630W is a white, full-size freestanding dishwasher rated for 16 place settings. Beko lists six programs, 13 litres of water use per cycle, 0.7 kWh per cycle, and 43 dBA of noise. Those are published specifications, not independent test results. CHOICE has a review listing for the model, but its public page hides the performance scores and test year, so it does not establish how well this dishwasher cleans or dries.
What kind of dishwasher is the BDFB1630W?
Beko identifies the BDFB1630W as a white, full-size freestanding dishwasher with a stainless-steel tub, LED display, full-size cutlery tray, adjustable upper basket, and three spray levels. Its listed capacity is 16 place settings. That figure describes rated capacity; whether the racks suit your usual dishes, cookware, and cutlery depends on how you load them.
Beko’s listed dimensions are 85 cm high, 59.8 cm wide, and 60 cm deep, and its listed weight is 50.3 kg. CHOICE rounds the dimensions to 85 × 60 × 60 cm. Measure the intended space and check clearances, plumbing, drainage, and electrical requirements against the model manual and appliance label before arranging installation.

Six listed programs
- Auto: Beko says a dirt sensor determines how soiled the dishes are and adjusts water temperature, water amount, and washing time. This is the manufacturer’s description of the program, not an independently verified result.
- Intensive 70 °C: the listed high-temperature program.
- Eco 45 °C: the listed lower-temperature program.
- Delicate 40 °C: the listed program for delicate loads.
- Quick & Shine 60 °C: Beko describes this as a 58-minute daily cycle for medium-soiled dishes. The duration and suitability are manufacturer claims, not a guarantee for every load.
- Mini: an additional listed program; Beko’s product page does not establish more detail about its intended load or duration in the cited specifications.
Functions and rack layout
The product page also lists Hygiene Intense, SteamGloss, AquaIntense, TimeDelay, Fast+, Key Lock, and SelfDry. Beko describes SelfDry as automatically opening the door after a program so air can enter and circulate for natural drying. That is a feature description, not independent evidence of drying performance or stain-free results.

Beko specifies a three-position loaded adjustment for the upper basket, four foldable plate supports in the lower basket, three in the upper basket, a full-size cutlery tray, a sliding cutlery basket, and four mug shelves. If you regularly wash tall glasses, large pots, or bulky plates, check the basket arrangement in person or consult the manual to judge whether its flexibility matches your cookware.
Beko’s Hygiene Intense description names Enterococcus faecium, Bovine Coronavirus, and Murine Norovirus in its bacteria/virus elimination claim. This is a manufacturer claim tied to the product description; it should not be read as a general guarantee against all pathogens or as an independently confirmed result.

Water, energy, and noise figures
Beko’s current product specification lists a 5-star WELS water rating and 13 litres of water per cycle, plus a 4-star energy rating, 0.7 kWh per cycle, 263 kWh per year, and operating noise of 43 dBA. These are manufacturer-published figures, not measurements made for this article. CHOICE’s public listing repeats claimed consumption information, but does not expose its own measured figures.

Actual household use depends on the selected program, load, and operating conditions. The manual notes that technical specifications can change without prior notice and that laboratory values may vary with operating and environmental conditions. Check the current documentation and the rating label on the appliance when confirming details for a particular unit.

What independent reviews establish
CHOICE publishes a page for the BDFB1630W and publicly identifies it as a freestanding dishwasher. However, its Expert Rating, wash and dry scores, energy-efficiency score, measured energy and water use, measured noise, program time, and test year are member-only. The publicly accessible listing therefore does not support a performance verdict, a comparison with competing models, or a reliability conclusion.
An Australian retailer also lists the model and displays customer reviews. Those comments are user anecdotes rather than controlled testing; some are explicitly identified as originally posted about another finish variant. They should not be treated as measured evidence of this model’s cleaning, drying, or reliability.

Installation and warranty checks
Before installation
The Beko manual lists a 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply and water pressure of 0.3–10 bar; it also says to refer to the appliance rating label for exact electrical requirements. The retailer lists a 10 A plug and lead and a 1.2 m cord, but those retailer details are not a substitute for checking the specific unit, manual, and local installation conditions. Beko’s manual directs owners to appropriate installation and an authorized service agent. Use a qualified installer where required.

Confirm coverage by component and condition
Warranty descriptions differ across the sources. Beko’s product page lists a 10-year compressor/motor warranty. CHOICE describes two years, or five years if registered. The retailer describes two years plus an additional three-year warranty via manufacturer redemption, and a 10-year inverter motor warranty. These terms may refer to different components and eligibility rules; do not assume the whole appliance has unconditional five-year coverage.

Before buying, verify the current warranty document for the exact model and country, including registration or redemption steps and deadlines, exclusions, labor and parts coverage, and which component receives the extended term.
Price and buying considerations
CHOICE’s publicly accessible listing showed $1,199 when checked in 2026; that is a dated listing, not a verified live price or a market-wide comparison. Check the current seller and stock, and include delivery, installation, and removal charges when comparing the total cost.
For a meaningful comparison with other full-size freestanding dishwashers, look for independent wash and drying tests from the same organization and year, and compare eco-cycle consumption on a like-for-like basis. Also consider rack fit, program duration, noise, automatic door opening in your kitchen layout, service access, and warranty terms by component. The public evidence available for this model does not provide the detailed scores needed to rank its performance.
