The Beko BAF369W is a freestanding, fridge-only larder refrigerator—not a fridge-freezer—with 351 L net capacity according to its Australian specification sheet. It may suit a household that needs substantial chilled storage and already has a separate freezer. The main cautions are its installation clearances, conflicting published energy figures, and the limits of the public independent-review data.
Beko BAF369W review: what kind of refrigerator is it?
The BAF369W is a single-door refrigerator with no freezer compartment. Beko and CHOICE both identify it as a fridge-only model. That makes it a different proposition from a conventional fridge-freezer: consider it if you have a separate freezer or do not need frozen-food storage, and compare it with fridge-freezers only after accounting for that difference.
CHOICE categorises it among small refrigerators in the 300–380 L range. That category describes capacity, not the appliance’s external footprint or its ability to replace a larger fridge-freezer.

How much does the Beko BAF369W hold?
The Australian Beko specification sheet, launched in October 2019, lists 369 L gross volume and 351 L net capacity. Beko New Zealand’s product page lists 351 L, without the same gross-versus-net distinction. For usable storage comparisons, the Australian sheet’s net figure is the more relevant one; do not treat 369 L gross as the usable capacity. Storage features listed for the model
The Australian specification sheet describes five full-width spill-proof glass shelves, four full-width door racks, a full-width bottle rack, a dairy compartment, and one crisper. Beko New Zealand also lists glass shelves, a reversible door, an electronic touch display, vacation mode, and a tray for six eggs. Features can vary by market or product revision, so check the paperwork for the exact unit offered locally.
Produce-preservation claims
Beko describes EverFresh+ as humidity control intended to reduce condensation and keep produce fresh longer. The Australian sheet says SGS compared broccoli and lettuce in the crisper with a standard crisper. Beko also says Active Fresh Blue Light is intended to help preserve produce; its stated tests by FRPERC and TÜBİTAK compared tomatoes and red and green peppers with a standard crisper. These are manufacturer-published claims based on the specified comparisons, not a guarantee of results in a particular kitchen.

What are the BAF369W dimensions?
Dimensions depend on which parts are included. Beko New Zealand lists 171.4 cm high, 59.5 cm wide and 70 cm deep. The Australian specification sheet lists 1714 mm high and 595 mm wide, with depth varying by measurement point:
| Measurement point | Depth | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Cabinet | 590 mm | Beko Australian specification sheet |
| Including doors | 650 mm | Beko Australian specification sheet |
| Including handles | 720 mm | Beko Australian specification sheet |
| Listed product depth | 70 cm | Beko New Zealand product listing |
CHOICE lists recommended installation clearances of 177 cm high, 90 cm wide and 77 cm deep. These clearance figures are larger than the cabinet measurements and should not be mistaken for the appliance dimensions. Before buying, measure the intended space, the route through the home, and the room needed for the door to swing. Check ventilation requirements and the exact unit’s manual as well; its guidance says to keep the refrigerator away from heat sources, humid places and direct sunlight. How much electricity does the Beko BAF369W use?
Published figures conflict, and the available sources do not establish that they refer to the same market label or product revision. Beko New Zealand lists 188 kWh per year and 3.5 energy stars. The Australian specification sheet, dated October 2019, gives 240 kWh per year and 3 stars; CHOICE’s public page also lists 240 kWh per year and 3 stars as claimed figures.
Do not select one number as universal or use either to predict a household bill without confirming the exact local model and tariff. Check the energy label attached to the appliance offered in your market. The Australian sheet also warns that specifications may change without prior notice. Warranty
The Australian Beko specification sheet lists a two-year manufacturer warranty plus three additional years by registration. CHOICE’s public page lists five years. Because the manufacturer sheet makes the additional coverage conditional on registration, check the warranty paperwork for the specific unit and confirm any registration deadline and terms before relying on five years of coverage.
Should you shortlist the Beko BAF369W?
It is worth considering when your priority is a fridge-only appliance with 351 L net capacity and you have a separate plan for frozen food. Compare it with alternatives using the same practical criteria rather than relying on gross capacity or a headline feature:
- Configuration: fridge-only versus fridge-freezer, based on whether you need frozen storage.
- Usable space: compare net capacity, not just gross volume.
- Fit: allow for the full depth including handles, door swing, ventilation and the delivery route.
- Energy: use the exact unit’s local energy label because the published figures differ.
- Performance: seek independently visible results for temperature stability and food preservation; the detailed BAF369W scores on the public CHOICE page are not available.
- Ownership terms: verify warranty coverage, registration conditions and the paperwork supplied with the unit.
- Purchase conditions: confirm current local availability and delivered price directly with the seller. The available CHOICE page showed no current price links, and its historical displayed price is not a current quote.
CHOICE displayed A$1,434 on its public page, but that is historical context tied to a review labelled with a 2020 test year, not a present-day price. Current Australian stock and pricing are not established by the cited pages.
