Where to find the Ornate Robe
Travel to the Crater Zone in Zone 14 and look for the large circular structure in the area’s northern section. The robe is not obtained from a random drop table in the location description. It is in a fixed chest, so the important task is reaching the correct structure and climbing through it rather than repeatedly defeating enemies and hoping for a drop.
- Enter Zone 14’s Crater Zone.
- Move to the large circular structure in the northern part of the zone.
- Follow the main route upward through the structure.
- Near the top, search for the control panel.
- Open the fixed chest immediately beside that panel to collect the Ornate Robe.
The item-specific reference gives the most precise route, describing the chest as beside the control panel near the top of the structure. A separate armor guide places the chest inside the Crater Zone fortress near a gate-control panel, which supports the same general landmark and area. If you are using a guide that calls the structure a fortress, use the control panel and the upper section as your practical checks rather than searching every chest in the zone. Two independent armor guides repeat the 54 Defense value, five-slot count, and paired 80 Flame and 80 Lightning Resistance values. Their agreement makes those numbers useful as a cross-check when you inspect the robe in your own inventory. All Things How’s armor guide provides the second published comparison point.
The item page’s English flavor text describes the garment as “A vibrant robe weaved with delicate precision from fine thread.” That sentence is descriptive item copy, not a quotation from a named character or developer. The item page contains the wording.

Balanced protection against flame and lightning
The robe’s defining defensive feature is the equal 80 rating in both Flame Resistance and Lightning Resistance. That gives the item a clearly dual-element profile: it is suited to a loadout where either damage type is a concern, or where you do not want to commit your armor choice to only one element. Five Amber slots for customization
Five Amber slots are the robe’s other major build consideration. Slots provide room for whatever Amber-based customization system your current progression has unlocked. The number of slots is confirmed, but the retrieved item information does not identify a mandatory slot configuration or prescribe which upgrades belong in each slot. Treat the five-slot count as capacity, then choose additions according to your weapon, other armor, and the threats in the area you are preparing for.
Defense and ranged defense are equal
At 54 each, the robe does not trade ordinary Defense for a lower Ranged defense value in its listing. That makes the comparison straightforward when you are checking another armor piece: record both columns rather than assuming a high Defense number also tells you how the game handles ranged attacks.
How to obtain it through crafting
The same item reference lists a crafting route in addition to the chest. You must first raise Cleanse Walker’s Power to Rank 6. Once that requirement is met, the robe can be crafted at the equipment workshop using the required materials.

- Find the Ornate Robe in the workshop’s craftable equipment list.
- Check the material requirements shown by your game client.
- Craft the robe if you have the required materials.
The retrieved item passage does not list those materials, so a material list should not be inferred from the robe’s price or from another armor recipe. If the recipe does not appear, verify the Rank 6 requirement first; the chest route in the northern Crater Zone structure remains the separate acquisition path described above. Start with the region, not the chest description
“Crater Zone” is the regional anchor. Confirm that you are in Zone 14 before looking for the structure, because a similarly shaped building elsewhere will not satisfy the item’s location description. From there, travel north until the large circular structure is identifiable.
Use the control panel as the final landmark
The chest is described in relation to a control panel, not merely as being somewhere inside the structure. At the upper portion of the main route, inspect the area around the panel before moving on. The fortress wording in another guide refers to the same broad location, but the item-specific description is more useful for the final few meters: the chest should be beside the panel near the top.

Expect a fixed container
Because the location is given as a fixed chest, changing your route or repeating combat encounters is unlikely to reveal a different spawn point. If you have reached the northern structure and cannot see the chest, retrace the upward route and check both sides of the control-panel area rather than abandoning the structure for another region.

One guide labels the Ornate Robe’s Enemy Awareness as Low, but that label does not appear in the retrieved passage from the item-specific page.
