Battle Group 2 has Steam achievements, but the official game page, Steam listing, and a player achievement guide do not establish a reliable cheat code or code-entry method. For achievement progress, a player guide last updated in 2016 points to specific maps for target kills, missile hits, and oil farming; treat these as dated community suggestions, not official or newly verified instructions.
Are there cheats or codes for Battle Group 2?
No reliable cheat codes or code-entry method are documented in the sources reviewed. Bane Games’ official game page describes the game and its features, while the Steam listing provides store and game information; neither establishes a working code list. What is Battle Group 2?
This article covers Bane Games’ Battle Group 2, not another similarly titled game. It is a single-player battleship action game in which players fight advanced pirates, use Satellite Strikes, and upgrade ships. Bane Games advertises 8 unlockable ships and over 30 campaign missions. Steam lists the game as released on June 13, 2014, and includes Steam Achievements.

The most specific route advice comes from Mintar’s player-authored Steam Community guide, “Optimal Path to Achievements: Target Analysis by Map Level,” posted February 24, 2016 and updated September 27, 2016. Its suggestions are useful starting points, not guarantees: they are old, non-official advice, and the missile-hit route depends partly on having enough slow-time tokens.

All map, enemy-count, and weapon recommendations in this table come from Mintar’s guide, rather than official documentation. Enemy counts and outcomes may not match every player’s run.
How to use the map recommendations
- Identify the achievement counter. For general or enemy-specific kills, start with the guide’s recommendations for Maps 23 and 24, then consider Maps 27, 29, and 22 for particular enemy types.
- Choose missiles for missile-hit progress. Use the Arsenal Prototype with its missile capacity upgraded if available. Do not count on USS Iowa shell fire to advance a missile-hit achievement.
- Account for slow-time tokens. The guide’s Map 28 missile route is presented as especially useful when you have enough tokens; it does not promise the same efficiency without them.
- Use oil maps that fit your progress. Try Maps 22–25, or consider Map 13 earlier if you can destroy its targets and want to test the guide’s suggested oil payoff.
Because the route guide was last updated in 2016, use the recommendations as a way to focus attempts rather than as a guarantee of current achievement behavior.
