Bandai has announced GUNDAM ASSEMBLE, a miniature tabletop game—not a confirmed model-kit series featuring six Strike Gundam designs. Its official announcement names a starter set and an October 2026 global launch plan, but does not identify the six-design lineup described in the original headline.
What is Bandai’s new Gundam series?
GUNDAM ASSEMBLE is a competitive, squad-based tabletop game. Players use mobile suits and other Gundam units as pieces in combat on a terrain board. Bandai says players assemble and paint miniatures approximately 5 cm in size. The activity draws on the enjoyment of plastic model kits, but the announcement presents GUNDAM ASSEMBLE as a game, not as a conventional Gunpla kit line.
Bandai’s announcement names the initial product GUNDAM ASSEMBLE STARTER SET o1. The official description and launch details are in Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America’s announcement.

No. The available official announcement does not name six Strike Gundam designs or connect such a lineup to GUNDAM ASSEMBLE. The cited official product listings also do not establish that claim. The six-design premise should therefore be treated as unverified, rather than as a confirmed product announcement.
