The original Babybee Luna is a discontinued side-by-side double pram. CHOICE lists it at 75 cm wide and 17.8 kg, with a 20 kg maximum per seat and a 10 kg basket. Babybee identifies Luna2 as the newer version, but its features and capacities should not be assumed to apply to the original Luna.
Is the original Babybee Luna discontinued?
Yes. CHOICE marks the Babybee Luna as a discontinued model, and ProductReview says it has been replaced by Luna2. Babybee describes Luna2 as the latest version of its side-by-side double pram. That distinction matters when checking specifications, warranty coverage or whether an accessory will fit.
CHOICE’s public listing provides specifications, but its detailed expert rating and performance, ease-of-use, safety and durability results are member-only. The available listing therefore does not establish whether the Luna passed or failed those tests.

Is the Luna suitable for twins or two young children?
Its side-by-side design and two seats make the Luna relevant to families considering a double pram for twins or two children close in age. CHOICE lists a 20 kg maximum recommended weight for each seat and newborn suitability when using the supplied cocoon. If you need two newborn setups, confirm which configurations and components are supported for the original Luna rather than relying on Luna2’s options.

For children who are already riding in the seats, compare each child’s weight with the 20 kg per-seat limit. Do not treat the basket’s 10 kg capacity as additional seat capacity.
Will it fit through a doorway or in a car boot?
CHOICE lists the original Luna as 75 cm wide and 17.8 kg. Those figures help with a first comparison, but the available listing does not establish doorway clearance, folded dimensions or car-boot fit. Measure the narrowest doorway and the usable boot opening and interior, then check the specific pram’s folded measurements before arranging collection or purchase. The listing’s 113 × 75 × 109 cm dimensions are not identified as folded dimensions.

Warranty and second-hand ownership
Babybee’s published warranty page classifies the Luna as a runout or clearance pram and gives it a standard two-year warranty. Under that policy, runout and clearance models are not eligible for the lifetime or extended warranty available to eligible models. Free accessories supplied in the box and separately purchased parts or accessories have a standard one-year warranty. Babybee states that warranty and spare-parts support is available in Australia only.

Safety and setup checks
The Luna manual warns: “Incorrect assembly or use can result in serious injury or even death.” It also says: “Never leave your child unattended with the pram or packaging.” Read the manual for the exact model before assembly and use, and follow its warnings and instructions.
- Confirm the stroller is the original Luna, not Luna2, before following instructions or ordering parts.
- Inspect the frame, wheels, brakes, restraints, seat fabric and supplied components, especially on a second-hand unit.
- Use only configurations and accessories confirmed for that model.
- Check the current manual and manufacturer guidance for assembly and safe operation.
