The Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double is a side-by-side double stroller with all-terrain features, but it is not a jogging stroller. The current US and European listings use the name City Mini GT2 Double; that is distinct from the original City Mini GT Double. Specifications and car-seat compatibility vary by market, so check the version sold where you live.
What the City Mini GT2 Double offers
Baby Jogger’s US product page describes a side-by-side stroller with forever-air rubber tires, all-wheel suspension, an adjustable handlebar, a hand-operated parking brake, near-flat reclining seats, adjustable calf supports, UV 50+ canopies and a one-step in-seat fold. The basket is rated for 15 lb. These are manufacturer-listed features, not independent findings about ride comfort, steering, folding effort or durability. See the US product listing.
Does it fit through a standard doorway?
Baby Jogger says the US model fits through a standard doorway, but doorways are not all the same width. The US listing gives two different width figures under separate fields: 30.5 in for “stroller width” and 29.25 in for “product width.” It also lists a stroller depth of 41.1 in and height of 43.1 in, while separate product fields give 40.7 in depth and 42.25 in height. Because the page does not explain the difference between these measurements, do not treat one as a definitive clearance figure. Measure your doorway, vehicle opening and storage area, and allow room to maneuver.

The manufacturer’s regional listings do not present identical specifications. Use the figures for the version you are considering, rather than combining US and European details.

The US figures come from the US product page and US/CAN instruction manual; European figures are from the European product page. The US manual recommends a total stroller load of 114 lb: 50 lb in each seat, 2 lb in each seat-back pocket and 10 lb in the basket. Those amounts add to the stated total; do not exceed the total load even if individual areas have unused capacity. The manual warns that excessive weight can make the stroller unstable.
Can you jog with the City Mini GT2 Double?
No. “All-terrain” does not mean suitable for running. Baby Jogger’s US listing says the stroller is not intended for jogging, and its US/CAN manual states: “This stroller is not suitable for running, jogging, skating or inline skating.” If you need a stroller for those activities, this is not the appropriate model.

Car-seat compatibility and accessories
The GT2 Double can be configured as a travel system with a compatible infant car seat and the appropriate adapter, but compatibility is not universal. The US product page lists adapters for Baby Jogger infant seats, Graco infant seats, and Maxi-Cosi, BeSafe and Cybex infant seats. The European page says it works with most Maxi-Cosi, Cybex and BeSafe infant seats, with adapters for other brands sold separately. Brand name alone is not enough to establish fit: verify the exact car-seat model, adapter, stroller generation and country using the manufacturer’s current compatibility information.

Safe use and folding notes
Follow the instructions supplied with your stroller. The US/CAN manual advises using the restraint, engaging the brakes when loading or unloading and whenever stopped, keeping fingers clear of moving parts, and using only Baby Jogger-supplied or approved replacement parts and accessories. It also says to remove the child tray or belly bar before folding or unfolding. Read the US/CAN manual.

- Clearance and storage: Check the width against the narrowest doorway and vehicle opening you will use, and verify folded dimensions against your storage space.
- Lifting: Consider the listed stroller weight and whether lifting it into a vehicle or carrying it upstairs is practical for you.
- Children’s size: For the US/CAN version, check each child against the 50 lb seat limit and 44 in maximum height in the manual. Use the corresponding regional documentation for other versions.
- Infant-seat setup: Confirm the exact car seat and adapter combination for your market, and account for adapters sold separately.
- Terrain and activity: The manufacturer lists tires and suspension for all-terrain use, but the manual rules out jogging, skating and inline skating.
- Included equipment: Confirm whether the accessories you need are part of the package or optional purchases.
