Avid Organics Private Limited says it plans to establish its first manufacturing facility outside India in the United States through its wholly owned subsidiary, Avid Organics America Inc. The proposed plant is targeted to begin operations in 2028 and would initially make glycine and glycolic acid in technical and cosmetic grades.
The company announced the plan on October 13, 2026, saying it could invest up to US$50 million across its U.S. operations through 2035. That figure is a forward-looking company plan, not independently verified spending or a completed capital commitment.

What the proposed facility would make
Glycine
Glycine is one of the products Avid Organics identifies in its portfolio. The company serves markets that include animal nutrition, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, personal care and cosmetics, home care, and industrial cleaning. The announcement does not provide a U.S. capacity figure, product specifications beyond the stated grades, or a customer allocation.
Glycolic acid
