ATK’s Blazing Sky Phantom Ultimate is an ultra-lightweight wireless gaming mouse built around what the manufacturer calls a hollow carbon-fiber-composite shell. That is a composite construction, not a claim that the entire shell is pure carbon fiber. ATK lists a 44 ± 3 g weight, dual wired and wireless 8,000 Hz polling, a PAW3955 Master sensor and a 300 mAh battery rated for up to 200 hours at 1,000 Hz.
What the ATK Blazing Sky Phantom is
The Phantom is listed on ATK’s product page as the “ATK Blazing Sky Phantom Hollow Carbon Fiber Composite Wireless Gaming Mouse,” with the selected model identified as Ultimate. ATK says the body uses a hollow carbon-fiber composite with geometric cutouts. The material wording matters: “carbon-fiber composite” means carbon fiber is part of a combined material system, rather than proving that every structural part is made from pure carbon fiber.
ATK says the Phantom launched on September 9, 2026. A company press release published October 12, 2026, repeats the shell, weight, sensor, polling and latency claims. Those are manufacturer statements; the available primary material does not establish an independent laboratory test of this exact mouse.

These figures come from ATK’s specification material and should not be read as independently measured results. The 44 g figure includes a stated ±3 g tolerance, so individual units may weigh more or less than 44 g.
How light is 44 g in practice?
ATK’s stated range is approximately 41–47 g because of the published tolerance. That makes the Phantom notably focused on low-mass handling, but the number alone does not establish rigidity, long-term durability or how the shell feels during fast flicks. No independent measured weight for this exact unit was established in the available sources.

The symmetrical body measures 119.7 mm long, 62.5 mm wide and 37.3 mm high. ATK recommends it for small-to-medium hands and claw, palm or fingertip grips. Those are the maker’s fit descriptions, not an independent ergonomic assessment. Hand length, preferred hump position and whether you anchor your palm will determine whether the compact dimensions feel stable.
Sensor, polling and latency
PAW3955 Master sensor
ATK specifies the PAW3955 Master sensor, a configurable range of 10,000 to 40,000 DPI and an 850 IPS tracking-rate figure. The page also states that the sensor can be overclocked to 50,000 DPI. Very high DPI settings are options rather than a recommendation; most players choose sensitivity based on their game, display and control preference.
Dual 8,000 Hz operation
The mouse is specified to support 8,000 Hz polling both by cable and through 2.4 GHz wireless. Higher polling can provide more frequent position reports, but the practical benefit depends on your game, frame rate, monitor refresh rate and whether your computer can process the additional reports without unwanted CPU load. The specification does not by itself prove a visible advantage in every setup.

ATK lists 0.174 ms button latency and Omron optical switches. That is a published specification, not an independently timed result for a retail sample, so use it as a design claim when comparing products.
Battery life and connection options
The Phantom uses a 300 mAh battery and ATK rates it for 200 hours at 1,000 Hz. That condition is essential: the page does not say that 200 hours applies when polling at 8,000 Hz. Higher polling, lighting, firmware behavior and radio conditions can change runtime.
Connectivity is listed as wired USB or 2.4 GHz wireless. ATK identifies a GEM 8K dongle and a Nano 8K dongle, plus an 8K paracord cable. Package contents can differ by selected variant or region, so verify the box contents at purchase rather than assuming every listing includes both dongles.

- Material expectation: Treat “carbon-fiber composite” as the accurate description; do not assume a pure-carbon shell or independently proven durability.
- Weight tolerance: Allow for ATK’s 44 ± 3 g specification rather than expecting every unit to weigh exactly 44 g.
- Fit: Compare 119.7 × 62.5 × 37.3 mm with your hand and grip, especially if you use a large-hand palm grip.
- Polling needs: Confirm that your game, monitor and computer benefit from 8,000 Hz before prioritizing it over battery runtime.
- Runtime: Use the 200-hour figure only as a 1,000 Hz claim; do not transfer it to 8,000 Hz operation.
- Package and price: Recheck the selected Ultimate variant, included dongles and skates, current stock, shipping and warranty at checkout.
How the Phantom compares on paper
A meaningful comparison should use measured unit weight and tolerance, shell construction and independent rigidity evidence, body shape relative to your hand, independently tested sensor tracking, polling behavior at the rate you will use, battery life under the same conditions, included accessories, price and warranty. The available ATK material supplies the Phantom’s listed specifications but does not provide a matched set of independent competitor measurements, so it cannot establish that the Phantom is objectively faster, tougher or better than a named alternative.
Bottom line for prospective buyers
The ATK Blazing Sky Phantom Ultimate is a lightweight, symmetrical mouse whose defining construction claim is a hollow carbon-fiber composite shell. Its headline specifications are 44 ± 3 g, dual wired/wireless 8,000 Hz polling, a PAW3955 Master sensor and a 200-hour battery claim specifically at 1,000 Hz. Those numbers are manufacturer specifications. Decide based on the compact dimensions, your grip, the value of high polling in your setup and the live price and package contents rather than treating “carbon fiber” or the latency figure as independent proof of performance.
