The monitor in the deal report is ASRock’s Phantom Gaming PGO32UFS, a 31.5-inch WOLED gaming display with two modes: 4K at 240Hz or Full HD at 480Hz. Tom’s Hardware reported a $596 Newegg price on October 9, 2026, against an $899 reference price. That is a dated price report, not confirmation that the offer is still live on October 11; check Newegg for the current price and availability before buying.
What the $596 deal refers to
Tom’s Hardware’s October 9, 2026 deal report identified the model as the ASRock Phantom Gaming PGO32UFS and said it was listed at Newegg for $596, down from an $899 reference price—a reported $303 difference. Retail prices and stock can change, and the reported price has not been verified as available today. The report names Newegg, but does not establish current inventory or a live offer.
ASRock describes the PGO32UFS as a 31.5-inch flat WOLED monitor. ASRock’s December 9, 2024 launch announcement called it a “32-inch” display; the product page gives the more precise 31.5-inch panel measurement. The 32-inch wording is a rounded product-size description.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesHow its dual resolution and refresh-rate modes work
The key trade-off is straightforward: use the panel’s full 3840 × 2160 resolution at up to 240Hz for more image detail, or switch to Full HD (1920 × 1080) at up to 480Hz for the higher listed refresh rate. The 480Hz mode is not 4K; it lowers resolution to FHD. That makes the choice useful for different priorities, rather than a way to get 4K and 480Hz simultaneously.

Should you consider it at the reported price?
The PGO32UFS’s main appeal is having a 4K 240Hz mode and an FHD 480Hz mode in one OLED monitor, with useful connectivity and stand adjustments listed by ASRock. The central compromise is also the point of its dual mode: choosing 480Hz means giving up 4K detail for Full HD. Whether that is worthwhile depends on which matters more for the games you play.
Treat $596 as a historical deal figure from Tom’s Hardware’s October 9 report, not a guaranteed current price. Confirm the exact model, current checkout price, and delivery availability on the retailer page in your region. ASRock warns that the model may not be sold worldwide and advises buyers to contact a local dealer about regional availability.
