Travel + Leisure observed an Amazon price of $85 for an ARZOPA 16.1-inch listing, but that was a deal price rather than a guaranteed everyday price. The range includes budget FHD screens for casual work and gaming, plus sharper QHD models aimed at buyers who want more workspace detail.
What you get for the money
ARZOPA’s 16-inch-class displays are thin, portable screens designed to connect to laptops, handheld consoles and other compatible devices. They are useful when a single notebook display becomes cramped: keep email, documentation or a chat window on one screen while working on the other.
The headline $85 price should be treated as a snapshot. Amazon coupons, sellers, stock and return terms can change quickly, so check the exact model and current listing before ordering. PCWorld reported a Z1FC sale price of $97, reduced from $130, while ServeTheHome reported a purchase price of approximately $109 for the Z1RC.

FHD is the lower-cost choice and is generally easier for older laptops or handhelds to drive. QHD gives text, spreadsheets and timelines more room and detail, but the higher resolution can require more graphics performance and usually costs more.

Choose the Z1FC for the lowest practical cost
The Z1FC combines a 16.1-inch FHD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, USB-C and Mini HDMI. It is the sensible starting point if you mainly need a second work screen, want smooth scrolling or plan to connect a gaming device without paying for QHD resolution. PCWorld’s reported $97 sale price was promotional, falling from a stated $130 list price.
Choose the Z3FC for sharper detail and faster motion
The Z3FC is the performance-oriented option. Tom’s Hardware lists a 2560×1440 IPS panel, claimed brightness of 400 nits and a listed weight of 1.71 pounds. Its maximum refresh rate depends on the input: up to 180Hz through USB-C, but 144Hz through HDMI. That distinction matters if your laptop or console can only use HDMI; buying it for “180Hz” does not guarantee 180Hz in every connection.

Choose the Z1RC for office text and vertical space
The Z1RC uses a 16:10 2560×1600 panel. The taller aspect ratio provides more vertical room for documents, code and web pages than a conventional 16:9 FHD screen. ServeTheHome reported paying approximately $109, making it a productivity-led alternative rather than the cheapest entry point.

A single USB-C cable can carry video and power only when the host device has a full-function USB-C port with DisplayPort video output and enough power for the monitor. A USB-C port used only for charging or data will not produce a picture.

- Check your laptop, tablet or handheld specifications for USB-C video output, often described as DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt/USB4 video support.
- Connect the monitor’s USB-C video/power port to that compatible host port with a suitable full-featured USB-C cable.
- Select the monitor’s USB-C input using its on-screen controls if it does not switch automatically.
- On the computer, open the display settings and choose whether the monitor extends or mirrors the desktop.
If the host cannot provide video over USB-C, use Mini HDMI or HDMI for the picture and connect a separate USB-C power cable. Even a video-capable laptop may need separate power when its USB-C port cannot supply enough current, when brightness is high or when the device is running on battery.
What to pack for a reliable travel setup
- A full-function USB-C cable for compatible one-cable connections.
- An HDMI cable and the monitor’s required adapter or Mini HDMI lead if your host lacks USB-C video.
- A USB power source, especially for HDMI setups or devices with limited USB-C output.
- The included sleeve and cables, when supplied with the specific listing; verify the box contents because bundles can vary.
- A protective sleeve or rigid case. A portable screen spends more time exposed in bags than a desk monitor does.
One 2026 TechRadar review described an ARZOPA unit as light enough to carry one-handed and reported using it as a second screen for the entire review. The same review cited measurements of 1.72 pounds, 14.41 × 8.98 × 0.37 inches, 400 nits and 107% sRGB. Treat those figures as measurements for that tested unit, not as specifications that automatically apply to every ARZOPA 16-inch model.

- Power: HDMI normally requires a separate power connection, and USB-C one-cable operation depends on the host port’s capabilities.
- Price volatility: The observed $85 Amazon deal and other reported sale prices may disappear or vary by seller, coupon and region.
- Return protection: Check the seller, return window and exact model number before paying; similarly named listings can have different panels and refresh rates.
Bottom line for travelers
ARZOPA’s 16-inch displays are worth considering when portability and a second workspace matter more than premium monitor features. Start with the Z1FC if price and simple 144Hz FHD performance are the priority. Move to the Z3FC for QHD detail and high-refresh USB-C operation, or choose the Z1RC when a 16:10 productivity panel is more useful than gaming speed. In every case, verify USB-C video support, plan for separate power when necessary and confirm the live Amazon price before checkout.
