The Artusi AMC34BI is a built-in microwave listed by Artusi Australia as a 32-litre model with 1000 W microwave output, plus separate grill and convection functions. It may suit a kitchen renovation where a built-in appliance is required, but check cabinet fit and confirm the warranty terms before buying. Published specifications establish its features, not real-world cooking performance; the CHOICE listing’s member-only test rating is not visible in the available results.
What the Artusi AMC34BI offers
Artusi Australia describes the AMC34BI as a stainless-steel built-in microwave with microwave, grill and convection functions. The published specifications list five microwave power levels, digital controls, a push-open door, a white LCD, ten auto-cook menus, defrost, a child safety lock and an LED cavity light. It comes with a 315 mm tempered-glass turntable and grill rack. The rack must sit on the glass turntable and cannot be used in microwave mode. Artusi’s AMC34BI product page and its specification sheet provide the listed features.
Is the AMC34BI 1000 W?
Yes: Artusi specifies 1000 W as the microwave output. That is distinct from the other functions’ ratings: the listed grill input is 1100 W and convection input is 2300 W. These figures describe different heating modes, so the microwave-output number should not be read as the rating for the grill or convection function.
Is it 32 litres or 34 litres?
Artusi Australia’s current product page lists the AMC34BI as 32 litres. CHOICE also identifies the model as 32 L, while an Appliances Online page title calls it 34 L. For this model, use the current manufacturer specification and check that the model number on any retailer listing is AMC34BI rather than relying on a title alone. The retailer title discrepancy does not establish that the appliance itself has a different capacity.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Capacity figures can also describe different things. Artusi’s 32 L is the listed capacity; CHOICE reports 29 L usable volume, with measured usable cavity dimensions of 22 × 36 × 36 cm and a 30 cm usable turntable diameter. Those are separately described measurements, not evidence that one listing is necessarily wrong. See the CHOICE listing for its figures.
What size cabinet opening does it need?
This is a built-in appliance, not a freestanding countertop microwave. Artusi lists external dimensions of 595 mm wide × 388 mm high × 467 mm deep and a 10 A GPO connection. CHOICE separately lists claimed external dimensions as 39 × 60 × 47 cm; that listing and the manufacturer page describe their figures differently, so use the appliance’s own installation documentation when planning the fit.

Do not use the external dimensions alone to cut cabinetry. Artusi’s specification sheet says its published dimensions are indicative and that the actual product should define cut-outs. Check the installation manual for the required opening and ventilation clearances, confirm the electrical connection is suitable, and verify the appliance against the space before installation. Artusi links an operation and installation manual from its product page; a manual index is also available at UserManuals.au.

The official feature list confirms that the AMC34BI has microwave, grill and convection functions, along with auto-cook menus and defrost. It does not establish cooking speed, evenness, noise, ease of use in practice or long-term reliability. CHOICE has a listing for the model, but its member-only expert rating and detailed performance findings are not visible in the available result, so there is no basis here to give it a score or call it recommended.

Appliances Online’s listing showed 3.7 out of 5 from nine customer reviews in the result snapshot. The comments were mixed: one reviewer described a recurring display fault in a warranty replacement and a request declined after the written warranty expired; another praised the product; an older review criticized oven and grill performance. These are individual customer accounts from a small, self-selected group, not controlled tests or a reliable estimate of fault rates. The listing is at Appliances Online.
Warranty and price: verify the terms at purchase
Artusi’s current Australia product page lists a five-year warranty. Appliances Online describes a two-year manufacturer warranty, with three further years available by redemption. These descriptions are not interchangeable: check the written warranty that applies to the unit and seller, including any registration or redemption steps, before relying on a five-year term.

Who should consider the AMC34BI?
It is worth considering if you specifically need a built-in appliance and want microwave, grill and convection modes in one unit. Its 32 L marketed capacity is not the same as CHOICE’s reported usable-volume measurement, so compare interior dimensions and turntable size with the cookware you actually use. The central buying checks are a verified cabinet opening and ventilation plan, a suitable 10 A connection, and written warranty terms. Published information does not establish whether it cooks better or more reliably than another model.
