Can enemies drop the Arev?
Yes, according to NerdsChalk: mercenaries and other high-tier human enemies may carry it. Drops are described as random, so hunting for one is less predictable than checking a listed vendor. A looted rifle may also have low durability and jam more often; the guide recommends repairing it before relying on it.

A Reddit player also reported finding a full-durability Arev underground in Burnt Forest at Rozyizhdzhe: descend a ladder and look on a shelf near a poltergeist and fire anomaly. This is a single unverified community report, not a confirmed spawn location.

NerdsChalk classifies the Arev as an assault rifle using 5.56×45 ammunition. Its guide lists these ratings:

Is the Arev included in the base game?
NerdsChalk says the Arev arrived in free Update 2.0, dated August 20, 2026, and is available without the paid Cost of Hope expansion. Those release and access details are supported here by a secondary guide rather than official patch notes. If ownership or version availability matters to your playthrough, confirm it in the current game or official GSC update information.
