BlueVPS may suit buyers who can match a specific location and resource tier to a defined workload, but the published plan menu alone does not establish real-world speed or reliability. Its current listings show inexpensive entry points and several storage options; conflicting uptime statements and unclear renewal pricing mean buyers should confirm the exact terms before ordering.
What BlueVPS offers
BlueVPS describes itself as a KVM VPS/VDS provider established in 2016, with locations across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. Its overview lists AMD EPYC and Intel Xeon hardware, Linux and Windows operating systems, NVMe storage, and 24/7 ticket support. These are the provider’s statements, not independent verification of data-center facilities, support staffing, compliance coverage, or workload performance. BlueVPS’s company overview describes its offer.
The useful way to assess its plans is to compare the selected location, CPU and RAM, storage class, bandwidth terms, OS, billing cycle, renewal price, and refund eligibility—not just the advertised monthly price or port speed.

The BlueVPS homepage lists configurations with different resource levels and storage types. The following are displayed examples, not a guarantee that the same price or configuration will appear for every location, operating system, billing selection, or checkout date. | Plan example | Displayed price and minimum cycle | Listed resources | Storage and port |
|---|---|---|---|
| bKVM 512 | $3.67 per month; quarterly minimum | 512 MB RAM; 1 CPU core | 6 GB RAID-10 HDD; 1 Gbps port; listing says unlimited bandwidth |
| NVMe-bKVM 1024 | $6 per month; minimum cycle not stated on the cited listing | 1 GB RAM; 2 CPU cores | 12 GB NVMe; 1 Gbps port |
| bKVM 2048 | $12 per month; minimum cycle not stated on the cited listing | not stated in the cited plan example | not stated in the cited plan example |
| NVMe-bKVM 4096 | $20 per month; minimum cycle not stated on the cited listing | not stated in the cited plan example | not stated in the cited plan example |
Do not treat a low entry price as a workload recommendation. A 512 MB RAM plan may be relevant only for a very small, carefully managed service; applications with databases, multiple processes, or sustained traffic need resources chosen from their actual peak memory, CPU, and disk demands. NVMe may be preferable when storage latency or I/O matters, but the published plan labels do not prove a particular workload’s performance.
CloudsPress reported on September 24, 2026 that renewal prices were not published for the 21 plans it checked on the provider website. Its score is an editorial rating, not a server benchmark. Ask for the renewal amount and billing cycle for the exact selected configuration before paying. CloudsPress’s dated plan and pricing roundup provides that catalog observation.

What do the uptime and bandwidth claims mean?
BlueVPS’s published pages do not present one consistent uptime figure. The BlueVPS.com terms state a 99.99% network uptime guarantee, the BlueVPS.net terms state 99%, and the USA VPS page advertises 99.9%. These are provider contractual or marketing statements, not independently measured historical uptime. The .com terms list exceptions including maintenance, DDoS attacks, natural disasters, force majeure, software updates, and customer-caused downtime. Confirm which legal entity and terms govern the plan and location you intend to buy.
The .com terms distinguish port speed from minimum bandwidth: they specify 10 Mbit for each 1 Gbit VPS, 100 Mbit for each 10 Gbit VPS, and 50 Mbit for a High Load VPS. They also say Cyprus service is around 30 Mbit. A 1 Gbps port label therefore should not be read as a promise of 1 Gbps sustained throughput. BlueVPS.com terms of service.

The separate .net terms say KVM VPS includes 3 TB monthly, except Hong Kong at 300 GB, while current product listings may use the word “unlimited.” Those claims should not be merged: check the product’s location-specific terms and ask what traffic limit or minimum bandwidth applies to the precise configuration. How does the refund policy work?
The provider’s refund policy allows a request within seven days for unused service periods. Cryptocurrency payments and installation-assistance fees are excluded. For a full refund, the policy asks customers to open a ticket with Sales and verify their identity; it lists PayPal and card refunds as methods. Read the policy and confirm eligibility before ordering, especially if you expect to pay by a method not listed there. BlueVPS refund policy.

The terms also say the provider may request identification documents, prohibit certain uses, list jurisdictions from which it does not accept orders, and reserve the right to refuse renewal of an active service. These details matter for sensitive data, regulated workloads, email services, and any project that depends on uninterrupted renewal; review the applicable terms for the chosen domain and location before deploying.

Which BlueVPS plan should you choose?
- Small, low-demand service: Consider an entry configuration only if its memory, CPU, and disk allowance cover the application and its expected peaks. The bKVM 512 listing is a low-cost example, not a general-purpose recommendation.
- Storage-sensitive workload: Compare the NVMe option with the HDD/RAID listing and estimate space and I/O needs. The published examples identify storage type and capacity, but do not provide independent performance measurements.
- Traffic-heavy or latency-sensitive project: Choose the data-center location based on where users or dependent services are, then confirm the minimum bandwidth and monthly traffic terms. Do not infer sustained throughput from the port headline.
- Windows or a control panel: Verify the selected OS, licensing implications, and any panel availability and cost in the actual order flow; the company overview lists options but does not establish that every choice is included with every plan.
What to confirm before ordering
- Location and contracting domain: Select the intended data center and establish whether BlueVPS.com or BlueVPS.net terms apply.
- Resources: Match vCPU, RAM, and storage capacity to the workload, including expected peaks and growth.
- Storage and operating system: Confirm HDD/RAID, SSD, or NVMe selection and the exact Linux or Windows option shown for that plan.
- Network terms: Check port speed, minimum bandwidth, monthly traffic allowance, and any location-specific exception in the governing service terms.
- Total cost: Verify billing term, renewal rate, tax, and the amount due at checkout; displayed monthly prices may depend on the selected configuration or cycle.
- Refund conditions: Check the seven-day window, eligible unused period, payment method, and verification requirement against your intended purchase.
- Operational fit: Confirm restrictions, identity requirements, and renewal policy are acceptable for the use case before migrating a live service.
Verdict
BlueVPS’s published menu is broad enough to compare low-cost KVM and NVMe configurations, but plan labels and advertised port speeds are not substitutes for workload-specific testing or clear contract terms. It is worth considering if the target location, resources, and applicable bandwidth terms fit your needs and the provider confirms renewal pricing. The conflicting uptime figures and absence of reproducible independent measurements mean buyers should not treat the headline claims as evidence of measured reliability.
