2POOD’s 5 mm knee sleeves are the brand’s more flexible option for CrossFit and mixed-modal workouts, while its 7 mm sleeves are positioned for heavier lifting and firmer support. The 5 mm pair may suit training that moves quickly between lifts and other movements, but fit matters: measure the thickest part of your calf and use the current size chart. Those are manufacturer descriptions, not independent proof of performance or injury prevention.

It is the thickness 2POOD positions for CrossFit and workouts that combine different movements. If you value flexibility for dynamic sessions, the brand’s description makes the 5 mm version the more relevant of its two options. Whether it feels supportive or comfortable will depend on your fit and preference; there is no independent comparative test here showing that it works better for CrossFit than another sleeve.

How to choose a size
- Measure the circumference of your calf at its thickest point, following 2POOD’s sizing guidance.
- Compare that measurement with the current size chart on the product page for the exact sleeve variant you plan to buy.
- If you fall between sizes, 2POOD advises sizing up for comfort or down for tighter compression.
Use the chart rather than estimating from your usual clothing or shoe size. A tighter choice is not necessarily the better choice if it makes the sleeves uncomfortable; the brand’s own between-size guidance distinguishes comfort from compression.

The listing supports claims about materials, construction, intended use and care, along with the manufacturer’s descriptions of warmth and compression. It does not independently demonstrate injury prevention, rehabilitation, improved circulation, faster recovery or better lifting performance. Do not treat a knee sleeve as a substitute for medical advice about pain or a knee condition.

Competition rules and legality
2POOD’s marketing refers to the sleeve as the official knee sleeve of the CrossFit Games, but that wording alone does not establish that it is legal in every competition. Rules depend on the event and governing body. For example, the 2022 CrossFit Games Rulebook is specific to that competition and year, while the IPF Technical Rules Book applies to IPF powerlifting. Check the current rules for your particular event before competing.

2POOD states that its one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, but excludes normal wear and tear, regular-use fraying, and fading from sweat, sunlight or washing.
