Start at Commissary Supermarket on Pendola Pass: check its red lockers and nearby ground loot. A recent guide author reported finding Sheet Metal there most often across their playthroughs, but no measured drop rate is available, so treat it as a promising first stop—not a guaranteed haul. Old Town and Almatera Station are also worth checking; at the station, search inside the trains.
Where to search for Sheet Metal on Pendola Pass
Focus on residential and commercial points of interest (POIs). A guide published October 9, 2026, names three places to search:
- Commissary Supermarket: The guide author described this as their strongest location across recent playthroughs. Check the red lockers and nearby ground loot.
- Old Town: Another named residential search area. No comparative spawn rate is published for it.
- Almatera Station: Check ground loot and search inside the trains.
These are priorities, not guaranteed spawns. The guide does not provide sample size or controlled odds, and loot is random. If Commissary does not turn up Sheet Metal, check the other named POIs rather than expecting a fixed amount per raid. AltChar’s Pendola Pass location guide has the location suggestions.

Why Sheet Metal is worth collecting
Sheet Metal is a common basic crafting material used for Outpost furniture. The ARC Raiders Wiki lists five pieces for stage 2 of the Outpost project, alongside three Advanced Electrical Components, ten ARC Alloy, and three Planks. Project requirements may change with game updates. The item reference lists scavenging and Celeste as sources.

Can you recycle or salvage other items into Sheet Metal?
No. The item reference says Sheet Metal cannot be recycled or salvaged, so focus on finding it while scavenging or obtaining it from Celeste rather than trying to convert other loot.
A practical search order
- At Commissary Supermarket, search red lockers and nearby ground loot.
- If you continue through other POIs, search Old Town and check both the area and train interiors at Almatera Station.
- Keep an eye on ground loot as you move between buildings and train cars; the available guide does not limit Sheet Metal to containers.
ARC Raiders is an extraction adventure, as Embark Studios’ official site describes it. Plan around the uncertainty of each raid: a location can be a useful priority without producing Sheet Metal every time. Recheck item uses and Outpost requirements after major updates.
