The Anko WBL-2401A is best understood as a small, rechargeable blender for carefully prepared, soft-food portions—not as a full-size smoothie maker. Its manual caps the cup at 270 mL, calls for ingredients cut into 1 cm pieces and added liquid, and limits each run to 45 seconds. Those constraints matter more to its usefulness than its 50 W input rating.
This review covers model WBL-2401A specifically. It should not be confused with Kmart’s separately listed light-blue portable blender, SKU 43624607, which has a different published capacity and power profile.
What the WBL-2401A is—and what it is not
Kmart’s manual identifies the appliance as the Anko Portable USB Mini Blender, model WBL-2401A. It has a 270 mL maximum cup capacity, 50 W input power, and a 5 V DC, 1 A charging input. That makes it a single-cup appliance for small portions, not a conventional jug blender. Kmart’s WBL-2401A manual

How it is intended to be used
Prepare ingredients before blending
The manual says to wash fruit, cut flesh into 1 × 1 × 1 cm pieces, and remove cores, hard material, thick skin, and hard shells. Add water or another drinking liquid, keeping the contents at or below the MAX line. Do not operate the blender empty. These instructions do not establish that the blender can handle ice, kale, nut butter, frozen fruit, or other demanding ingredients. Nor does the small maximum fill support treating it as a full-size smoothie blender.

Start, stop, and recover from a stall
- Double-press the On/Off switch to start blending.
- If pulp stalls the blade, the blender stops and the indicator turns red. Tilt or turn the unit until the blade separates, then wait for the red light to go out.
- Double-press the switch again to resume.
- The blender stops automatically after 45 seconds. Allow at least three minutes before another use; after five cycles, let it cool for approximately 30 minutes.
The manual warns against continuous blending with excessive intensity and says not to blend hot liquids. Its explicit warning is: “WARNING: DO NOT BLEND HOT LIQUIDS.” Kmart’s WBL-2401A manual

Charging, cleaning, and battery considerations
Charging
The manual estimates approximately three hours to charge from a standard 5 V DC, 1 A USB source. The indicator is red while charging and blue when fully charged. It also requires a power supply certified to AS/NZS 61558.1 and AS/NZS 61558.2.16 with matching SELV output. Kmart’s WBL-2401A manual

Cleaning
The cup and lid can be rinsed, and the manual describes a 5–10 second water-cycle quick clean. The motor unit must only be wiped with a damp cloth: do not rinse, immerse, soak, or spray it. Battery and warranty
The built-in lithium-ion batteries are non-replaceable. For long storage, the manual advises recharging every three months; the stated use and storage temperature range is -5°C to +35°C. Do not confuse it with another Kmart portable blender
Kmart’s currently visible light-blue Portable USB Blender listing is for SKU 43624607, with a published capacity of 450 mL, 100 W input, 5 V DC at 2 A, and a height of 26.6 cm. The WBL-2401A manual instead specifies 270 mL and 50 W. The distinct specifications identify different listed product profiles; they do not establish that one replaces or succeeds the other.
