Choose the Anker SOLIX S2000 if longer runtime matters most; choose the EcoFlow DELTA 2 if you need more continuous AC output, a lighter unit, or the option to add a battery. In the US specifications reviewed, the S2000 stores 2,010Wh and supplies 1,500W continuously, while the DELTA 2 stores 1,024Wh and supplies 1,800W. Those figures describe different strengths, not a universal winner. Your appliances, startup surges, carrying distance, solar setup and expansion plans should decide the purchase.
Quick verdict
- Best for longer potential runtime: Anker SOLIX S2000, with a listed 2,010Wh capacity.
- Best for higher continuous loads: EcoFlow DELTA 2, with 1,800W of total pure-sine-wave AC output.
- Best for carrying: DELTA 2, listed at approximately 12kg (27lb), compared with 16.2kg (35.7lb) for the S2000.
- Best for a documented expansion path: DELTA 2, which the US manual says can connect to one Smart Extra Battery.
- Best for a longer manufacturer-stated cycle figure: S2000 on paper, but the claims use different conditions and endpoints and are not independent test results.
These are specification-based recommendations. No controlled, third-party, head-to-head runtime test was established for this comparison, so actual performance will depend on inverter losses, temperature, appliance cycling and your charging method.
Anker SOLIX S2000 vs. EcoFlow DELTA 2: specifications at a glance
| Specification | Anker SOLIX S2000 | EcoFlow DELTA 2 | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stored energy | 2,010Wh | 1,024Wh | A larger reserve can support the same load for longer, although usable AC energy is lower than the nameplate figure. |
| Continuous AC output | 1,500W | 1,800W total pure-sine-wave AC output | Running watts must stay within this limit; a larger battery does not increase inverter power. |
| Maximum solar input | 400W MPPT | Up to 500W solar charging | Panel voltage, current, connector and regional model still have to match. |
| Listed weight | 16.2kg (35.7lb) | Approximately 12kg (27lb) | The DELTA 2 is lighter by the published figures. |
| Expansion battery | Not documented on the reviewed US product page | One Smart Extra Battery supported in the US manual | Do not infer that the S2000 cannot expand; verify the current regional documentation. |
| Battery chemistry and life claim | Anker says up to 10,000 cycles, with more than 60% capacity retained under stated typical use, and presents a 15-year lifespan estimate | EcoFlow claims 3,000+ full charge-and-drain cycles | These are manufacturer claims framed differently, not an apples-to-apples durability test. |
| Warranty | Five years listed on Anker’s US S2000 page | A directly comparable current US term was not established in the reviewed manual/product material | Check the warranty page for your country and purchase date before buying. |
The figures above come from Anker’s current US S2000 product page and EcoFlow’s DELTA 2 US user manual, both accessed in October 2026, except the DELTA 2 cycle claim, which appears on EcoFlow’s US product page.
Capacity and runtime: what 2,010Wh versus 1,024Wh really means
Watt-hours are the size of the fuel tank
Watt-hours (Wh) describe stored energy. In a simplified comparison, a 100W load running continuously would consume about 100Wh per hour, so a 2,010Wh station starts with roughly twice the energy reserve of a 1,024Wh station. Real AC runtime is shorter because the inverter consumes power, the battery-management system reserves some energy, and appliances rarely draw a perfectly constant load.

Refrigerators, pumps, compressors and heating elements cycle on and off. A refrigerator that averages 60W over time is not equivalent to one that draws 60W continuously, and a compressor’s startup demand can be much higher than its running demand. Temperature, ventilation, battery age and the station’s operating mode also change the result.
What the S2000’s refrigerator claim does—and does not—show
Anker advertises up to 35 hours for a 700L (24.7 cu ft) refrigerator. The company specifies a 77°F ambient temperature, a 37°F refrigerator compartment and a 0°F freezer compartment for that test. Treat it as Anker’s result for that appliance and those conditions, not as a promise for every refrigerator. A smaller or more efficient model may run longer; a warmer room, frequent door openings or a different compressor profile may shorten runtime.
Estimate your own runtime before comparing models
- List each device you expect to power and its running wattage from the nameplate or manual.
- Estimate how many hours each device operates during the outage or trip.
- Multiply watts by hours to get watt-hours for each device, then add the results.
- Allow additional energy for inverter and conversion losses, startup events and uncertainty. The product’s advertised Wh is not the same as guaranteed AC output.
- Compare that adjusted requirement with 2,010Wh for the S2000 and 1,024Wh for the DELTA 2.
This method is more useful than comparing a single appliance to a headline capacity. If your calculated load is close to either station’s limit, leave extra margin rather than planning to drain the battery completely.
Continuous output and startup surge
The DELTA 2 can support a higher sustained load
The DELTA 2 lists 1,800W of total pure-sine-wave AC output, versus 1,500W for the S2000. That 300W difference can matter when several devices run together: for example, a refrigerator, networking equipment, lights and a small cooking appliance may fit the DELTA 2’s continuous rating while exceeding the S2000’s.
Do not use the watt-hour number to answer an output question. The S2000 can store more energy yet still be unable to run a load whose sustained or startup demand exceeds 1,500W. Conversely, the DELTA 2’s 1,800W inverter can run a larger load for a shorter period if the battery is smaller.

Check surge requirements, not only running watts
Motors and compressors can draw a brief surge when they start. Read the appliance manual for starting, locked-rotor or peak watts and compare that figure with the station’s documented surge capability. The specifications reviewed here establish continuous output, but they do not establish a universal surge result for every appliance. If a device repeatedly trips the inverter, disconnect other loads, let the motor cool, and verify the manufacturer’s surge guidance before trying again.
Portability for camping, vehicles and emergency storage
The DELTA 2 is listed at approximately 12kg (27lb), while the S2000 is listed at 16.2kg (35.7lb). A difference of about 8.7lb is significant when you are lifting a station into a car, moving it between rooms or carrying it across a campsite. The lighter DELTA 2 is the easier choice for frequent repositioning.

For home backup, where the unit may remain near a refrigerator or network cabinet, that trade-off may be acceptable. For vehicle travel, decide whether you will move the station alone, roll it, or have another person help. Also account for the weight of solar panels, charging cables and any expansion battery; the power station is only part of the load.
Solar charging and panel compatibility
Published input limits
Anker lists a maximum 400W MPPT solar input for the S2000. EcoFlow’s DELTA 2 US manual lists up to 500W of solar charging. Those are input ceilings, not guaranteed charging speeds. Cloud cover, panel orientation, shading, heat and the battery’s state of charge can reduce actual power substantially.

- [Reliable UPS] - Never lose data or stop your devices during winter storms/blackouts! 10ms ultra-fast UPS switch protects CPAP, laptops, routers—critical for home emergencies when power cuts suddenly.
- Operating-voltage range and maximum open-circuit voltage (Voc).
- Maximum input current and the panel’s short-circuit current.
- Connector type and polarity.
- Whether an adapter or series/parallel arrangement changes voltage or current beyond the station’s limits.
- Regional model differences; a product sold outside the US may have different input specifications.
Never connect panels solely because their advertised wattage is below 400W or 500W. A panel can be under the watt limit while still exceeding the station’s voltage or current limit. Use the official manual for the exact model and stop if the station reports an input fault.
Plan around solar variability
Solar is a replenishment method, not a fixed-rate fuel source. A nominally 400W or 500W array will not deliver that output continuously through a day. If you need dependable overnight power, size the battery for the loads first and treat solar as a way to extend the operating window. During an outage, place panels where they receive unobstructed light, protect connectors from water, and route cables so they cannot become a trip hazard.
Expansion: when one battery is not enough
DELTA 2’s documented option
EcoFlow’s DELTA 2 US manual says one DELTA 2 can connect to one Smart Extra Battery. That gives buyers a documented path to increase stored energy without replacing the main power station. Confirm the accessory model, firmware requirements, cable and regional availability before purchase; the manual’s support statement is the relevant reference for the US model.
What is known about the S2000
The reviewed US S2000 product page does not document an expansion battery. That omission is not proof that expansion is impossible, because product revisions or regional documentation may differ. If expandable capacity is a purchase requirement, ask Anker for written confirmation of the exact model’s compatible batteries and connection procedure before ordering.
Battery longevity, warranty and ownership risk
Why the cycle claims are not directly comparable
Anker says the S2000 is rated for up to 10,000 charge cycles under typical use of one to two cycles per day with more than 60% of original capacity retained, and presents a 15-year lifespan estimate. EcoFlow’s DELTA 2 product page claims 3,000+ full charge-and-drain cycles for its LiFePO4 battery.

The claims use different definitions: cycle depth, retained-capacity threshold, daily-use assumptions and the meaning of “lifespan” may not match. They are vendor statements, not independent laboratory comparisons. Use them as indicators of the manufacturers’ intended durability, not as evidence that one station will last a specific number of years in your household.
Warranty is a regional purchase check
Anker’s US S2000 page lists a five-year warranty. The reviewed EcoFlow manual and product material did not establish a directly comparable current US warranty term. Before buying, open the current warranty terms for your country, confirm whether registration is required, and note exclusions for unauthorized accessories, misuse, water exposure or commercial use. Keep the receipt and serial number because portable power equipment is difficult to service without them.

Home refrigerator and outage backup
Start with the S2000 if your priority is keeping a refrigerator, freezer, router and lights operating for as long as possible between charges. Its 2,010Wh reserve gives it a substantial capacity advantage, subject to appliance cycling and inverter losses. Check the refrigerator’s startup requirement and avoid adding a high-wattage kettle, heater or hot plate unless the combined running and surge demand stays within 1,500W.
Choose the DELTA 2 when your outage plan includes a higher simultaneous load and you can recharge more often. Its 1,800W continuous rating provides more headroom, while its smaller battery means you should calculate runtime carefully or consider the documented Smart Extra Battery.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCamping and vehicle travel
The DELTA 2’s approximately 27lb listed weight favors trips where one person repeatedly loads and unloads the station. It can run common electronics, lights and small appliances, but calculate the energy budget for each night. The S2000 is heavier but better suited to a base camp or vehicle setup where moving it is infrequent and longer reserve capacity is more valuable.

High-draw tools and appliances
Compare running and startup watts first. A tool that exceeds a station’s continuous or surge capability may fail to start regardless of how much energy remains. The DELTA 2’s 1,800W rating is the stronger starting point for higher continuous loads, but the tool’s own surge specification still decides compatibility.
Solar-supported remote use
Both stations accept solar input. The S2000’s published ceiling is 400W; the DELTA 2’s is 500W. Select based on the battery reserve you need overnight, the panel voltage and current you can safely provide, and whether the lighter DELTA 2 or the larger S2000 is easier to transport. Neither maximum input figure guarantees a particular time to full charge.
A practical buying decision in six steps
- Measure the load: Write down running and startup watts for every appliance you will connect.
- Set a runtime target: Estimate watt-hours for the period between charges and include a margin for losses and uncertainty.
- Choose the output class: Select the 1,500W S2000 only when your sustained and surge demands fit; select the 1,800W DELTA 2 when you need its additional headroom.
- Decide how much carrying matters: The listed weights are 35.7lb for the S2000 and about 27lb for the DELTA 2.
- Design the recharge plan: Check wall charging, vehicle charging and solar-panel electrical compatibility rather than comparing panel wattage alone.
- Verify ownership terms: Confirm expansion support, regional warranty, accessory availability and the current price immediately before purchase.
Pitfalls that lead to disappointing results
- Confusing Wh with W: Capacity predicts duration; inverter output determines whether a device can run at all.
- Ignoring startup surge: A compressor or motor may trip an inverter even when its running wattage looks safe.
- Planning from a laboratory-style maximum: Solar input ratings are ceilings under favorable electrical conditions, not all-day production guarantees.
- Assuming advertised capacity is fully usable: Conversion losses, reserve limits and battery temperature reduce AC energy delivered to devices.
- Treating cycle claims as test results: The S2000 and DELTA 2 claims use different definitions and have not been established by a comparable independent test.
- Assuming every regional model is identical: Confirm the US or local manual, connectors, voltage range and warranty for the unit you will actually buy.
- Overloading a power strip: Add appliance loads together and keep the total below the station’s continuous rating; distribute sensitive equipment only as allowed by the manufacturer.
Bottom line: S2000 or DELTA 2?
Buy the Anker SOLIX S2000 when your main question is, “How long can I keep essential devices running from one charge?” Its listed 2,010Wh capacity is nearly twice the DELTA 2’s 1,024Wh, and Anker lists a five-year US warranty plus its own high cycle-life claim. Accept the heavier 35.7lb form and lower 1,500W continuous output, and verify that your appliances’ startup demand fits.
