Shadow Monarch, Flame Director, and Cataclysm are the strongest currently assessed summoning targets in the latest located Anime Zero weapon ranking. Mochi Commander, Cursed King, and Immortal Sovereign are strong alternatives. Treat these as time-sensitive guide judgments, not measured damage results: Update 3, Void Arbiter, has added three weapons that were not yet ranked in the October 11, 2026 snapshot.
Anime Zero weapon tier list
The latest located ranking, updated October 11, 2026, assesses 14 weapons for general PvE. It is an editorial ranking informed by balance notes, community recommendations, and the guide author’s experience—not a controlled comparison of weapons at equivalent builds. Pro Game Guides’ Anime Zero tier list places them as follows:

Tier placement is not a permanent or measured damage ordering. The guide considers factors such as enemy groups versus bosses, cooldown gaps, investment, survivability, second-slot value, and balance. It does not establish that one weapon leads another in measured DPS, including within a tier.

The October 11 update note says Update 3, Void Arbiter, is live and introduces three Lyth weapons: Blue Flame Heir (Rin Okumura), Eternal Archmage (Frieren), and Starlight Diva (Astra Yao). The note reports that all three are obtained through the new Trails mode, but says the guide will add them after learning more. Their tier placements and performance are therefore not established in that snapshot; there is no sound basis here to rank them or recommend chasing them for power.

How to decide whether a weapon is worth summoning
A tier list is a starting point, not a substitute for checking whether a weapon fits your build and the activity you play. Compare options across the factors that can change a run:
- Damage and coverage: Check how well the moves handle groups as well as a single boss.
- Safety: Consider whether attacks have invincibility frames (i-frames) and whether long animations leave you exposed to raid damage.
- Cooldown gaps: Look at what the weapon can do between its major skills, not only its strongest attack.
- Comparable investment: Compare weapons at similar evolution levels, with similar traits, accessories, and skill-tree investment. An underdeveloped weapon may look weaker than it would at a comparable build.
- Second-slot value: Account for the other weapon’s moveset after switching. A strong pair is more than a headline weapon or a pair bonus.
- Mode fit: A weapon suited to raids may not be best for story clearing, farming, or Endless progression.
What the current raid guidance says
Shadow Monarch is the clearest supported safety choice
The latest guide reports invincibility frames on every Shadow Monarch skill and M1 attack, making it the clearest supported raid-safety pick in the available ranking. It names Shadow Monarch, Flame Director, and Cataclysm as S-tier raid priorities. The guide also notes that invincibility windows on some other weapons have changed without always specifying their exact current scope. Do not assume a particular move provides continuous or guaranteed protection unless you confirm its current behavior in-game.

Pairing Shadow Monarch with Flame Director
The guide recommends Shadow Monarch paired with Flame Director as a strong Update 2 combination. However, Flame Director’s described Skill 2 passive is personal to Hu Tao; it does not double Shadow Monarch’s damage after switching weapons. Two strong movesets can complement each other, but that personal passive does not transfer between them.
Do not summon for a named synergy alone
The guide lists six named weapon-pair bonuses and says other combinations have a default damage bonus. A named bonus is only one part of the choice: giving up a stronger second moveset can cost more than the synergy adds. Compare what you gain from the full pair rather than treating a matching bonus as an automatic upgrade.

Why tier lists can disagree
An earlier October 2026 Beebom ranking placed Cataclysm and Cursed King in S tier, describing Cataclysm as fast with short cooldowns and Cursed King as safer in raids. That snapshot predates the October 11 Update 3 note. The later Pro Game Guides ranking places Cursed King in A, illustrating why patch dates matter. These are editorial judgments rather than official rankings, so use their descriptions as guidance and account for the update and your own build.
The Anime Zero Roblox listing by LY* says, “Anime Zero is currently in active development.” The listing also notes that active development can involve bugs, performance issues, or incomplete features. Weapon performance and recommendations may change as the game is updated.
