In Anime Zero, the best-documented way to “enchant” a weapon is to reroll its trait. You spend a Trait Reroll at Matilda in the Traits area, and the new trait replaces the selected weapon’s previous trait. Trait Rerolls are reported from mode clears, daily or quest rewards, achievements, milestones, and redeemable codes, although the exact rewards can change between game updates.
A separate lobby enchant system is also described by a community wiki. Its names, costs, materials, and final effects are not fully verified, so do not treat an unconfirmed recipe as a requirement. Use the live in-game panel as the authority for that system.
What “weapon enchanting” means in Anime Zero
The term is currently used in two different ways. Two October 9, 2026 game guides describe weapon improvement through the Traits menu: you choose a weapon, spend a Trait Reroll, and replace its current trait. A community-maintained wiki separately describes weapon enchants rolled in an enchant area in the lobby.
Those systems should not be mixed together. The Trait Reroll route has a documented menu path and a published trait table. The separate enchant system has reported names but no confirmed material list, currency requirement, or complete effect values in the available evidence. If your client shows an enchant button or recipe, read that current panel rather than relying on an old guide.

The documented material
For trait rerolling, the material you need is a Trait Reroll. It is consumed when you select Reroll for a weapon. The guides also describe Auto Reroll and Trait History controls, which help manage repeated attempts and review previous results.
How to reroll a weapon trait at Matilda
Check the weapon name before every attempt. The reported behavior is that the new trait applies to the selected weapon and replaces the old one; an accidental selection can therefore spend a reroll on the wrong item.
- Open the game’s Areas menu.
- Travel to the Traits area.
- Find Matilda.
- Open Matilda’s trait interface and inspect the weapon currently displayed.
- Use the arrows beside the weapon name to move to the weapon you intend to change.
- Confirm the displayed weapon name and review its current trait.
- Check your Trait Reroll balance in the same interface.
- Select Reroll and read the resulting trait before leaving the menu.
Because Anime Zero is actively updated, labels and placement can move. If a menu does not match these names, look for the current Traits-area NPC or the panel that shows a weapon, its trait, and a reroll balance.

Auto Reroll is intended for players who have multiple attempts and a clear stopping point. Select the traits you are willing to keep, start the automatic process, and the system is reported to stop when it lands on one of those selected options. Review the keep list carefully: choosing a weak trait by mistake can stop the process earlier than intended, while selecting an extremely rare trait may consume many rerolls before success.
Using Trait History
Trait History records prior results in the interface described by the guides. Use it to check what was rolled during a session and to avoid assuming that a previous trait is still attached after several attempts. History is a record, not a refund mechanism; it does not establish that an old trait can be restored without another reroll.
How players reportedly get more Trait Rerolls
No single permanent reward schedule is established. The reported routes are activities and menus worth checking in the current build:
- Clear game modes. Story and other mode clears are listed as possible sources.
- Complete daily rewards or daily login claims. These may be presented as a calendar or a claim button.
- Finish quests. Quest rewards are listed by one guide as a possible route.
- Earn achievements and milestones. One-time progression rewards can include reroll currency when the current build assigns it.
- Redeem active codes. Codes can expire, have a claim limit, or change their reward, so verify the result in the code menu rather than trusting a static quantity.
These are reported acquisition routes, not guaranteed amounts. Before planning a long reroll session, open the current daily, quest, achievement, milestone, and code panels and confirm that each reward is active for your account. The community wiki also mentions clears, codes, and daily login rewards, but it is not official documentation.
A practical farming order
- Claim every available daily or login reward.
- Check quests and achievements for already-completed objectives.
- Redeem only current codes shown as valid by the in-game code panel or a current game notice.
- Clear the easiest eligible mode for its completion reward.
- Repeat higher-value clears or milestones only after confirming their present reward.
This order minimizes wasted time on content that does not currently award rerolls and lets you establish your balance before changing a valuable weapon.

The following values were published by two guides dated October 9, 2026. They are displayed game values reported by those guides, not independently tested probabilities. The in-game trait panel can change after an update, so use it as the final reference before spending rerolls.

The chance column is a displayed roll chance, not a promise that a particular number of attempts will produce the trait. A 0.01% display is exceptionally rare, while Fortune’s reported 12.63% makes it a far more common result. The table does not establish pity protection, independent rolls, or a guarantee after a set number of failures.
How to read the rare percentages
For scale, 0.01% is equivalent to one displayed chance in 10,000, 0.04% is one in 2,500, and 1% is one in 100. Those are simple percentage conversions, not predictions of when your next roll will land. Random attempts can produce a rare trait immediately or fail repeatedly. Do not multiply a displayed chance by your reroll count and treat the result as guaranteed progress.

Fortune, Power I, Swift I, and Focus I are all around 12.63% to 12.64%, so they are much more likely to appear than Deadeye, Supernova, Sniper, or Ferocity. If your weapon only needs a modest damage, speed, or cooldown improvement, accepting a common suitable result can preserve rerolls for another weapon.
Which trait should you keep?
There is no universally best trait. Keep the result that supports the job your weapon performs and the content you are running.
For maximum general combat
Supernova has the broadest listed package: damage, cooldown reduction, attack speed, and movement. Its reported 0.01% chance makes it an exceptional hit rather than a practical target for every player. Ferocity and Hunter provide more attainable multi-stat alternatives in the published table. Ferocity emphasizes damage and speed; Hunter offers a smaller package with a reported 1.83% chance.
For critical-hit builds
Deadeye combines damage, crit chance, and a large crit-damage bonus, but its displayed chance is 0.01%. Sniper focuses on crit chance, crit damage, and attack speed at a reported 0.04%. Overkill is a simpler +40% crit-damage option at 1%, while Razor Focus supplies +13% crit chance at the same reported 1% rate. Choose according to whether your build lacks chance or damage; a crit-damage bonus is less useful if attacks rarely crit.

For direct damage
Power I, II, and III form a tiered damage line of +4%, +6%, and +8%, with reported chances of 12.63%, 8.42%, and 4.21%. These are straightforward choices when you want a visible damage increase without depending on critical hits or ability timing.

For attack speed and movement
Swift I, II, and III provide +6%, +9%, and +12% attack speed, each with +1 walk speed, at reported chances of 12.63%, 8.42%, and 4.21%. Swift is a natural fit for a weapon whose output improves with more frequent attacks or for a build that values repositioning.
For ability cooldowns
Focus I, II, and III provide +4%, +7%, and +10% cooldown reduction. Their reported chances match the Swift tiers: 12.63%, 8.42%, and 4.21%. Favor Focus when your damage or utility depends on using abilities sooner rather than making basic attacks faster.
For survival
Vitality is listed with +25% max health and a 7.66% displayed chance. It is the clearest defensive choice in the table for content where surviving a hit matters more than a small offensive increase.

For farming coins, experience, or drops
Fortune is the reported farming trait, with +25% coins, +20% EXP, and +20% drop rate at a displayed 12.63% chance. It can be preferable on a farming weapon even when a combat weapon would benefit from Power, Swift, Focus, or a critical trait.
How to spend rerolls without wasting them
- Decide the weapon’s role first. Write down whether you are optimizing damage, crits, speed, cooldowns, survival, or farming.
- Set a keep list. Auto Reroll is safer when you define acceptable traits before starting.
- Do not chase a rare name by default. Deadeye and Supernova are both listed at 0.01%, but rarity alone does not make a trait correct for every build.
- Verify the target weapon. Use the arrows beside the weapon name and read the name again immediately before selecting Reroll.
- Stop when the result meets the build. Continuing after a suitable trait can replace it with a less useful one.
- Check the current panel after updates. Rates, names, and rewards are volatile in an actively updated Roblox game.
Build a stopping rule before you roll
A useful stopping rule names one ideal result and several acceptable alternatives. For a general damage weapon, that could mean keeping Supernova or Ferocity, then accepting Hunter or a Power tier if the session is limited. For a farming weapon, Fortune is the clearly identified target, while a combat trait may not improve the activity you are actually running. For a crit weapon, decide whether crit chance or crit damage is the missing part of the build before opening Auto Reroll.
Separate weapons by role when possible. A Fortune weapon can handle coin, experience, and drop farming while a Power, Swift, Focus, or critical weapon is reserved for combat. This avoids repeatedly replacing a useful farming trait simply because a combat table makes another result look rarer or stronger.
Traits versus the separate lobby enchant system
A community-maintained Anime Zero wiki reports a second system in which weapons can receive enchants in a lobby enchant area. It names Power, Hunter, Bloodlust, and Supernova. The available description does not verify the exact effects, the currency or materials required, or whether every named enchant is active in the current client.

If the live enchant panel displays a cost, record the exact item or currency name, required quantity, and whether the cost is per roll or per upgrade. Treat that panel as a current in-game observation; do not substitute a community list when the client shows different information.

Matilda or the Traits area is missing
Return to Areas and look for the current Traits destination rather than searching the combat map. Updates can rename or relocate menu entries. If the area is locked, complete the prerequisite shown by the game instead of assuming a reroll bug.
The wrong weapon changed
Before selecting Reroll, use the arrows to select the intended weapon and confirm its name and current trait. If a reroll has already been spent, check Trait History to document the result; the reported system replaces the selected weapon’s previous trait.

Open the reward panel again and check whether the reward was a Trait Reroll or a different currency. Daily claims, codes, quests, achievements, and milestones can have changing rules. Rejoin or reopen the relevant panel if the game has not refreshed the balance, then rely on the number shown beside the reroll control.
A code does not work
Codes can expire, be case-sensitive, or be limited to one claim. Check the current code menu and the game’s own notices. Do not assume a code listed by an older guide still grants a particular quantity.
Auto Reroll stopped on an unwanted result
Review the selected keep list before restarting. The reported behavior is to stop when a selected option appears, so an accidentally included trait can end the process. Remove it, define the intended alternatives, and start only after checking the list.
Update-safe checklist for a reroll session
- Open the Traits panel and note the weapon name, current trait, displayed reroll balance, and current trait list.
- Check daily, quest, achievement, milestone, and code panels for rewards that are actually available in this build.
- Choose a role for the weapon and write an acceptable keep list before spending anything.
- Read the displayed percentages and bonuses in the current panel; the October 9, 2026 table is a comparison snapshot, not a permanent contract.
- Use one manual reroll first if you are unsure which weapon is selected, then configure Auto Reroll only after verifying its keep list.
- Review the resulting trait and Trait History, and stop once the weapon meets the role you selected.

Travel through the Areas menu to the Traits area, then find Matilda’s trait interface. Names or placement can change after updates, so use the current menu labels if they differ.
How can I get more Trait Rerolls?
Check mode clears, daily or login rewards, quests, achievements, milestones, and active redeemable codes. Exact rewards and availability can change, so confirm each source in the current game panels.
Which trait should I keep?
Choose by role: Fortune for coins, EXP, and drops; Power for direct damage; Swift for attack speed and movement; Focus for cooldown reduction; Vitality for max health; and critical traits for crit-focused builds. Supernova and Deadeye are exceptionally rare in the reported table, not automatically best for every weapon.
Does Auto Reroll guarantee a rare trait?
No guarantee is established. Auto Reroll reportedly stops when it lands on one of the traits you selected to keep, and a rare target may require many attempts.
Can Trait History restore an old trait?
