Anime Zero Item Rarities Explained: Which Drops Are Worth Keeping

Keep every Mythic and Legendary material. Keep Common and Epic materials whenever they appear in an accessory recipe you plan to craft. Rarity is a useful farming priority, but it is not a safe auto-delete rule: lower-tier items can still be required components. When one material is missing, check Yugi the Forger’s shop, whose reported stock refreshes every 24 hours.

What Anime Zero material rarity means

Anime Zero’s materials are crafting components for accessories that provide stat bonuses. The material catalogue documented by Beebom on October 14, 2026 contains 25 items in four tiers: Common, Epic, Legendary and Mythic. A higher tier generally signals a harder-to-replace component, but the item’s usefulness ultimately depends on the accessory you intend to make.

Do not confuse material rarity with weapon rarity. Anime Zero Hub, an unofficial fan site checked on October 6, 2026, describes a separate weapon ladder of Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Arcane and Lyth. Arcane and Lyth are weapon classifications, not additional material tiers.

The practical keep rule

• Mythic: keep every one.
• Legendary: keep every one unless you have verified that no planned recipe uses it and you urgently need inventory space.
• Epic and Common: keep anything required by an accessory you expect to craft; do not discard it solely because its tier is lower.
• Any item with an uncertain use: store it until you have checked Yugi’s crafting menu and your near-term accessory plans.

A Common component needed today is more valuable to you than a Mythic component for which you have no recipe, even though the Mythic item is rarer.

The table below separates the four material tiers from the game’s independent weapon-rarity system. Percentages are the specific drop chances reported for the named activity; sources without a published percentage are marked “not stated” rather than estimated.

Which drops are worth keeping?

1. Save Mythic materials first

Mythic is the highest material tier in the documented catalogue. Several Mythics come from Nightmare story stages, Spirit’s Bathtub or Shadow Gate Raid. Monarch’s Blessing is especially difficult to replace: its reported Shadow Gate Raid chance is only 6.5%. Ghost and Staff of Homa are also activity-specific, with reported Spirit’s Bathtub chances of 33% and 25% respectively.

Keep Magic Pendant, SunCore, Forbidden Fruit, Burger, Ghost, Staff of Homa and Monarch’s Blessing in storage. Spending one on a confirmed accessory is fine; deleting one because you do not yet know its recipe is not.

2. Save Legendary materials

Legendary components are often locked behind Hard or Nightmare story stages or raids. Cursed Finger, Tech Component and Waves Core require the corresponding HxH act on Hard or Nightmare, while Igris Crest and Shadow’s Cloak come from Shadow Gate Raid. The reported raid chances are 40% for Igris Crest and 47% for Shadow’s Cloak, but a percentage does not guarantee a drop on a particular run.

Keep Omurice, Soul Fragment, Cursed Finger, Tech Component, Waves Core, Igris Crest and Shadow’s Cloak. Their 40,000-Coin shop price, where listed for Legendary materials, also makes replacing a discarded copy expensive.

3. Keep lower tiers when a recipe calls for them

Common and Epic items are not junk. Fine Cloth and Shinobi Scroll can be obtained through multiple HxH acts, and Fine Cloth also appears in ZZZ World Endless Waves. Gems have unusually broad availability—modes, raids, daily quests, codes and Robux—but that does not mean you should ignore them if an accessory requires a specific quantity.

Before deleting Caprese, Zero Calories Flour, Ham, Eyeball, Broken Blade, Mana Feather, Shadow Essence or Zero Calories Doughnuts, open the accessory list and check whether the item is a component of something you intend to craft. A lower-tier material that blocks your next upgrade has immediate value.

How to farm each material efficiently

Use the named activity instead of random grinding

Material sources are not interchangeable. Run Trials for Caprese, Ham, Omurice and Burger. Use HxH Story Acts 1–3 for the listed Common and Epic story materials, then switch to Hard or Nightmare for Cursed Finger, Tech Component and Waves Core. ZZZ World Endless Waves is an additional source for Fine Cloth and Mana Feather. Shadow Gate Raid supplies Zero Calories Flour, Shadow Essence, Zero Calories Doughnuts, Igris Crest, Shadow’s Cloak and Monarch’s Blessing. Spirit’s Bathtub is the reported source for Ghost and Staff of Homa.

Prioritize activities by the bottleneck

1. Open the accessory you want and write down every missing component.
2. Group missing items by activity: Trials, an HxH act, ZZZ World Endless Waves, Shadow Gate Raid or Spirit’s Bathtub.
3. Farm the activity that supplies the item blocking the craft, rather than spending runs on a higher rarity you cannot currently use.
4. For Nightmare-only materials, confirm that your team can clear the stage consistently; a reliable lower-rate clear is more useful than an unsuccessful attempt at a harder difficulty.
5. Recheck your inventory after each run so you do not keep farming an item that has already stopped being the bottleneck.

The published guide provides exact chances for several raid and Spirit’s Bathtub drops, but not a complete rate table for every story, Trial, code, shop or raid item. Treat unlisted rates as unknown.

Can you buy missing Anime Zero materials?

Yes. At the Crafting Station, talk to Yugi the Forger and inspect his material shop. Beebom reports limited stock and a 24-hour refresh interval. That makes the shop useful for a final missing component, but not a guarantee that every item will be available whenever you visit.

Prices and availability are patch-sensitive. Spend Coins when the purchase completes an accessory you can use now or saves a disproportionately difficult farm. If the item is readily available in a stage you already clear, farming may preserve your currency for a Mythic bottleneck.

Crafting an accessory without wasting materials

1. Go to the Crafting Station.
2. Talk to Yugi the Forger.
3. Choose the accessory you want to make.
4. Read the complete materials requirement and compare it with your inventory.
5. Confirm that you are willing to consume the listed items, including any Common or Epic components.
6. Select Quick Craft to create the accessory.

Accessories can increase damage, improve critical rate, reduce cooldowns or provide other stat bonuses. Because the benefit is tied to the finished accessory, do not spend a rare material merely to clear inventory space; craft when the resulting stat effect fits your character or build.

A simple inventory decision framework

Use these checks whenever your storage fills:

• Is it Mythic or Legendary? Keep it by default.
• Is it named in a recipe you plan to craft? Keep it regardless of tier.
• Is its source slow, difficult or low-chance? Keep it. Monarch’s Blessing’s reported 6.5% raid chance is the clearest example.
• Can Yugi sell it? Compare the Coin cost with the time and difficulty of farming it; a shop purchase is a fallback, not proof that the item is disposable.
• Is the item’s use unknown? Leave it stored until you have checked the crafting menu and any current patch notes.

This approach prevents the most common mistake: treating rarity as an automatic delete filter. Rarity tells you what is hardest to replace on average; the recipe tells you what is valuable to your account right now.

What may change after an update

Item names, recipes, shop prices, stock and drop chances can change with Anime Zero patches. The figures above reflect the Beebom guide dated October 14, 2026 and the Anime Zero Hub data checked October 6, 2026. Verify the current in-game recipe and source before selling, deleting or spending a rare material. The available references do not establish a complete rate table for every activity, so an unlisted percentage should not be inferred from another item’s chance.
