To get crafting materials in Anime Zero, choose the accessory you want, read its current recipe, and use the Story or mode reward preview to find each missing material by name. The reliable route is recipe-first farming: reserve materials needed for planned upgrades, run the chapter or mode that previews the item, and use the Material Shop only when its live price and stock make sense for a small shortage.
Crafting is handled through Yugi, the Forger, in the Crafting area. Because Anime Zero is being updated frequently, treat guide tables as a current reference rather than a permanent drop chart; confirm the recipe, reward preview, and shop inventory in your own game before spending resources.
What crafting materials do in Anime Zero
Crafting turns collected materials into accessories. The cited October 2026 crafting guide lists 14 craftable accessories and routes the process through Yugi, the Forger. The accessory menu is the useful starting point because it shows the exact ingredients for the item you actually intend to make; farming a chapter before selecting a recipe can leave you with a large stock of the wrong materials.
The game does not provide a dependable, published percentage for each material in the references available for this guide. That means a chapter can be the correct source for an item without anyone being able to promise that it will appear on a particular run. Use the reward preview to identify where an item is currently eligible, then judge efficiency from your own repeated clears.

The following locations are reported by an independent accessories reference whose recipes were last checked on October 9, 2026. They are useful targets for current planning, but an update can move an item or change a reward pool. Match the material name in the preview rather than relying on a familiar icon.

The table does not establish a drop percentage, a guaranteed reward, or a universal best chapter. It tells you where the current references say to look. If the live menu disagrees, follow the live menu and treat the older location as outdated.
How do you get crafting materials in Anime Zero?
Open the crafting interface
- Open Areas from the game menu.
- Select Crafting.
- Choose Yugi, the Forger.
- Select Craft and open the accessory you want.
- Read every ingredient and the quantity still missing.
- Use Quick Craft when the required materials are in your inventory and you are ready to commit them.
This path comes from Beebom’s October 9, 2026 guide. Menu labels can change during development, so if the wording differs, look for the Crafting area and Yugi rather than assuming the recipe has disappeared.
Copy the live recipe before farming
Write down each missing material exactly as displayed. Singular and plural names can look similar, and an icon alone is not enough to prove that two items are interchangeable. Include ingredients needed for an evolution or another priority craft in your notes before you spend anything.
Find the matching reward preview
Open the Story or mode selection screen and inspect the reward panel for the exact material name. A concise instruction from the Anime Zero Materials Guide, reviewed October 11, 2026, is: “Use the act reward preview to find a Story material.” The same approach applies when comparing Infinite waves or a raid: select the queue and difficulty first, then confirm that the target is listed.

A recipe-first farming workflow
Use this sequence whenever you are short of an ingredient. It prevents the most common waste: spending a rare item on a convenient craft and then discovering that an evolution needs it.
- Select the intended craft or evolution. Open its current recipe in the game and record every quantity. Do not rely on a screenshot or an old list if the interface shows a different requirement.
- Reserve future requirements. Subtract only materials that are genuinely free to spend. Keep a separate reserve for a planned weapon evolution and any craft you have already prioritized. The materials guide and the Anime Zero Games Editorial guide both caution against treating all owned inventory as available.
- Calculate the shortage. For each ingredient, compare the recipe quantity with your spendable stock. A shortage of one rare item calls for a different decision than a shortage of dozens of a common one.
- Match names in the reward preview. Search the current Story, Infinite, or raid panels for each missing item. Use the exact text, not a broad chapter label or an icon that resembles the target.
- Choose a repeatable clear. If two queues show the same target, favor the one you can clear consistently with fewer failures and less downtime. The sources do not provide comparable drop rates, so a claimed universal route would be misleading.
- Compare a small shop purchase. When only a few units remain, check the live Material Shop price and stock against the time and risk of another run. The dated shop figures below are reference values, not a live inventory.
- Convert only surplus materials. Use conversion after planned crafts and evolutions are covered. Trading away an item that appears common can still block a later recipe if the reward pool or balance changes.
Farming by chapter, mode, and difficulty
Chapter 1 targets
Chapter 1 is the reported source for Eyeballs, Cursed Fingers, Soul Fragments, and Magic Pendants. These items are not equally priced in the shop, so first decide whether the target is inexpensive enough to buy or rare enough to justify focused runs. Check the Chapter 1 reward panel immediately before starting; the location table is a guide snapshot, not an in-game guarantee.
Chapter 2 targets
Broken Blades and Tech Components are associated with Story Chapter 2 in the current reference. If you need Tech Components for an accessory, make sure the preview names Tech Component rather than assuming every Chapter 2 clear pays it. Record the number credited after each successful run so that a later comparison is based on your own results.
Chapter 3 and Infinite targets
Mana Feathers, Wave Cores, Forbidden Fruit, and Sun Cores are reported from Chapter 3 and Infinite waves. Infinite may offer several wave choices, so inspect each reward preview instead of entering the first available wave. Keep difficulty, build, and wave selection fixed when comparing sessions; changing all three at once makes the result impossible to interpret.
Fine Cloth and Shinobi Scrolls
The accessories reference places Fine Cloth and Shinobi Scrolls in all Story chapters and Infinite waves. Their broad availability makes them useful early targets, but it does not prove that every queue pays the same quantity or that one chapter is fastest for every player. Pick a content loop you can clear repeatedly and verify the credited item after each run.

Spirit’s Bathtub on Nightmare
Ghosts and Staffs of Homa are reported specifically from the Spirit’s Bathtub raid on Nightmare difficulty. Select the Nightmare setting and confirm the reward preview before investing time. If the raid is unavailable, the references do not establish another source for these two materials, so avoid substituting a lower difficulty and assuming it has the same pool.

Material Shop prices and when buying makes sense
Beebom’s October 9, 2026 guide reports the following Material Shop prices and daily stock. Anime Zero Games Editorial also describes dated shop data and warns that inventory can change. Check your own shop before purchase; the table is not a live feed and does not promise that stock will reset in the same way after an update.

A useful rule is to compare the cost of the exact shortage, not the theoretical cost of an entire accessory. Buying one Magic Pendant to finish a craft can be rational; buying every ingredient at the highest listed price can consume Coins needed elsewhere. Because no source supplies a verified drop rate or average clear time, do not convert these prices into a claimed Coins-per-run or time-per-item figure.
Conversion: a last resort, not an inventory dump
The crafting guide describes conversion as a way to trade owned materials. Conversion can solve a narrow shortage when you have a clear surplus, but it can also erase the ingredient for a future evolution. Before confirming a trade, check the recipe list for every planned item and keep a reserve for materials that are expensive, raid-limited, or difficult to replace.
- Convert only after subtracting current craft requirements.
- Keep rare or high-shop-price materials unless you have already ruled out a planned use.
- Record what you converted so a later recipe does not look like an unexplained loss.
- Recheck the live conversion ratio after an update; the references do not establish that ratios remain fixed.
How to compare farming routes without inventing a drop rate
No reviewed guide publishes an official per-material percentage, and the accessories reference explicitly says its rates are not published. Another guide says it has not verified how a reported pity counter applies across acts, materials, and difficulties. Therefore, a short streak of lucky or unlucky runs cannot establish a general rate.

You can still measure which route works better for your account. Use the same build, difficulty, queue, and target material for each trial. For every successful or failed clear, record:
- the queue and difficulty;
- start and finish time, including loading or recovery time if you are comparing real efficiency;
- whether the clear succeeded;
- the target-material quantity credited;
- Coins or other costs spent during the session.
After several repeated clears, total the target units and divide by total elapsed minutes to obtain your own units-per-minute observation. Keep the sample size and conditions visible in your notes. This is a personal route comparison, not a universal drop-rate claim; a different build, patch, or difficulty can produce a different result.

Gentleman’s Top Hat
The Anime Zero Wiki beginner guide, last verified October 11, 2026 against Update 2 and the October 10 balance fix, recommends Gentleman’s Top Hat as an inexpensive first craft. It reports a recipe cost of 8 Fine Cloth and bonuses of +3% Damage, +5% Experience, and +2 Walk Speed. The accessories reference also identifies 8 Fine Cloth as the lowest material cost in its table.
That makes the Top Hat a sensible starter target when you already have, or can efficiently obtain, eight Fine Cloth. It is a guide-backed entry point, not proof that it is optimal for every build. If your immediate goal is a different stat or an evolution, compare that goal and its current recipe before spending the cloth.
Later accessory decisions
For later crafts, compare the actual recipe, the materials you still need, and the activity you want to improve. One reference describes Blast Archer Wings as a farming-oriented choice and Blast Archer Crown as damage-oriented. Those are editorial evaluations rather than official rankings, so use them as descriptions of intended use, then verify the live bonuses and material requirements in your accessory menu.

Troubleshooting common material problems
The item is not in the reward preview
Reopen the accessory recipe and copy the exact material name. Then check another chapter, Infinite wave, or the Nightmare raid named in the location table. If no current preview lists it, do not assume that a similar icon is equivalent; the location may have changed with an update.
The run finished but credited nothing useful
Confirm that the selected queue and difficulty matched the preview you inspected. Record the result and check whether the item is a chance-based reward rather than a guaranteed one. The available references do not provide a pity threshold or a guaranteed completion count, so one empty clear is not evidence that the whole route is invalid.
The shop price or stock differs
Use the live shop as the authority. The listed prices and daily quantities are dated guide reports from October 2026 and can change. Recalculate the shortage after any purchase so you do not buy more than the recipe requires.

Stop converting until you have reviewed planned evolutions and priority crafts. Farm the item from the current reward preview or wait for a shop offer rather than repeatedly trading away materials without a reserve.
You cannot clear the reported source consistently
Efficiency includes failed attempts and recovery time. A route that looks attractive on paper but fails often can produce fewer target units per hour than a slower, reliable queue. Keep your build and difficulty fixed while testing alternatives so you can identify whether the problem is the route or the clear consistency.
What the published figures do not establish
The 14-accessory count, shop prices, stock limits, and Gentleman’s Top Hat bonuses are reported in 2026 by independent guide publishers, not by an official live database. Their dates matter: Beebom’s crafting article is dated October 9; the accessories reference says its recipes were verified October 9; the materials guide was reviewed October 11; Anime Zero Games Editorial checked its guide October 10; and the beginner guide cites Update 2 and the October 10 balance fix.
Those reports support a practical starting plan, but they do not establish an official pity counter, a per-material percentage, a guaranteed number of runs, or a universal fastest route. When a guide and your game disagree, the current recipe and reward preview should decide what you farm.
