Anime Zero crafting converts gameplay materials into accessories that add displayed bonuses such as damage, health, coins, cooldown reduction, experience, or movement speed. Open Yugi, choose Areas → Crafting, select a recipe, and use the live requirement shown there as the authority. Community guides report 14 accessory recipes, but recipe costs changed in October 2026 and no complete official rarity or upgrade ladder has been published.
The safest approach is to choose one immediate goal, reserve materials for the weapon evolution you actually plan to finish, then farm only the remaining shortfall. Treat dated guide examples as useful orientation rather than permanent values.
What crafting does in Anime Zero
Crafting is the accessory-making system. It turns materials earned during play into an item you can confirm in your inventory and equip separately from your weapon. Accessories are designed around different problems: killing enemies faster, surviving longer, earning more currency, reducing cooldowns, gaining experience, or moving around the map more quickly.

An Anime Zero Wiki Editors guide updated October 5, 2026 reports 14 accessory crafts. That figure describes the number of crafts covered by the guide, not an official promise that the live game will always contain exactly 14 recipes. The same guide does not publish a complete item-by-item cost list. An independent guide updated October 10, 2026 also reports that recipe costs changed earlier that month. For that reason, the recipe panel in your current game session is more reliable than a static article or screenshot.

Crafting and weapon evolution are related only because both consume materials. They are separate systems with separate menus, requirements, and planning decisions. Crafting an accessory does not evolve a weapon, and evolving a weapon does not automatically produce an accessory.
How to craft an accessory
The reported location is Yugi. Use the following path, then copy the requirement exactly as it appears in your version of the game.
- Travel to Yugi and open Areas.
- Select Crafting to display the accessory recipes.
- Choose the accessory whose displayed bonus matches your immediate objective.
- Read every listed requirement, including each material and any currency condition. Do not rely on an older cost from a guide.
- Check your inventory and subtract anything reserved for a planned weapon evolution.
- Craft only when the remaining materials can be replaced without delaying that weapon plan, then verify the new item in your inventory and equip it from the accessory interface.
The final verification matters. A successful craft adds the item to your inventory, but its bonus only helps once the accessory is equipped. Check the item panel after equipping it so you can confirm that the displayed effect addresses the problem you intended to solve.

Do not select an accessory solely because its name sounds rare. Compare the effect shown in the item panel with the reason you are crafting. The reported bonus families support these practical choices:

| Player goal | Bonus family to look for | When it is useful |
|---|---|---|
| Clear enemies faster | Damage | When attack output is the limiting factor in a run |
| Survive difficult stages | Health | When units or the player are being defeated before the stage ends |
| Build currency | Extra coins | When a run is limited by income rather than combat time |
| Use abilities more often | Reduced cooldowns | When ability downtime is preventing progress |
| Level or progress more quickly | Experience | When experience gain is the immediate bottleneck |
| Reach objectives or reposition | Movement speed | When travel time or movement is costing more than damage output |
These are categories, not a complete ranking. The guides do not establish that one bonus family is universally best, because the right choice changes with the stage, your build, and whether you are farming materials or trying to clear a difficult act.
Does rarity determine an accessory’s value?
Current public guides do not establish a complete authoritative rarity ladder for crafted accessories or the exact upgrade potential of every rarity. They do not support a definitive common-to-mythic progression, fixed upgrade-level rules, set bonuses, or a universal scaling formula.
When an item panel displays a rarity, treat that label as information about that particular item, not proof of a game-wide ranking system. Read the actual bonus and any upgrade text shown in the live panel. Two items with different rarity labels may serve different purposes, and an item with a smaller-looking number can still be more useful for a specific farming route.
Use rarity as a secondary filter only after checking three things: the displayed effect, the current recipe cost, and whether the recipe consumes materials reserved for evolution. If the live game adds an upgrade button or level requirement, follow that panel for the item in front of you rather than importing a rule from an older guide.

Where crafting materials come from
Material availability is patch-sensitive. The following routes are reported by community guides, but reward previews and drop tables can change, so inspect the current queue before committing to a long farming session.
Story acts and mode-specific pools
Story acts can draw from act-specific material pools. Open the reward preview for the act you are considering and look for the exact material missing from your recipe. A later act is not automatically better if it does not contain the item you need; the useful run is the one whose reward pool matches your shortfall.
Infinite waves and bosses
Infinite content and its bosses are also reported sources. Use these runs when the material appears in the current reward preview and your build can clear the waves efficiently. If the drop is tied to a boss, check whether the reward is granted for defeating that boss or for completing the wider run.
Breakable rubble in HxH areas
Guides also report materials from breakable rubble in HxH areas. This route can matter when a recipe needs a material that is not appearing in the Story queue you are already farming. Confirm the area and the current drop before spending stamina or time there.
Rank #4
- Take Up the Sword Once Again - Play as Tanjiro Kamado and face off against evil demons in key moments from the “Entertainment District Arc,” “Swordsmith Village Arc,” and “Hashira Training Arc” with breathtaking visuals and combat.
- The Hashira Unite - A host of new arrivals added to the roster, with over 40 playable characters to choose from including the nine Hashira, the highest rank of the Demon Slayer Corps.
- More Ways to Play - Expanded Single Player content allows you to relive the story in a brand-new way.
Reported pity, shop, and conversion options
One guide reports a material pity after five runs. The same group of guides mentions a gold shop in the crafting menu and a material-conversion option. These are safety nets for a small shortage, not reasons to spend every currency immediately. Patch changes have affected drops and pity, so verify the current counter, price, and conversion ratio in the live menu.
A safe resource-cost method
Every recipe should be treated as a small budget decision. Use this sequence before farming:
- Choose the exact target. Decide whether you are completing an accessory craft or a particular stage of a weapon evolution. Avoid farming for an undefined “better” item.
- Transcribe the live requirement. Copy every material and currency condition from the current menu. Include quantities and any prerequisite text.
- Protect the evolution reserve. Open the weapon’s Evolution panel and set aside the materials required for the stage you intend to complete. Apparent surplus is not surplus if a later evolution step uses it.
- Calculate the shortfall. Compare the recipe with your inventory after the reserve is removed. This tells you exactly what must be farmed.
- Match the queue to the shortfall. Choose a Story act, Infinite run, boss route, or HxH rubble route whose current reward preview includes that missing material.
- Use shop or conversion only for a controlled gap. If a small shortage remains, compare the gold cost or conversion trade against your other planned upgrades. Do not exchange a material needed for the weapon reserve.
- Craft and inspect. Confirm the item appears in inventory, equip it, and check the displayed bonus against the goal you selected.
Accessory crafting versus weapon evolution
The Evolution panel lists weapon-specific materials and other requirements. An accessory recipe is shown in the Crafting panel. Because requirements differ by item, there is no single material list that applies to every upgrade.

| Accessory crafting | Yugi → Areas → Crafting | Choose a bonus for a current goal and follow the live accessory recipe |
| Weapon evolution | The weapon’s Evolution panel | Reserve the listed weapon-specific materials before optional accessory spending |
An evolution guide recommends prioritizing the main weapon you use to clear runs. That advice is practical: a stronger primary weapon can improve every later farming attempt, while an optional accessory may solve only one narrow problem.

Shadow Monarch’s different path
Shadow Monarch is described as having a multi-stage evolution path. Other weapons in the same guide are described with one-evolution routes. Do not assume that finishing one evolution step completes the entire weapon path, and do not spend materials marked for a later Shadow Monarch stage merely because an accessory is currently craftable.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What should you craft first?
If runs are failing because enemies survive
Start by comparing damage-oriented accessories with the live cost of upgrading your main weapon. If the weapon evolution is close and uses the same materials, protect the evolution reserve first. Craft damage only when its displayed effect solves the immediate clear-speed problem without postponing that evolution.
If you are dying before completion
Health-oriented bonuses may be more valuable than damage when survival is the limiting factor. Check whether the stage can be completed with a modest defensive increase; otherwise, weapon progression may still be the better use of scarce materials.
If you are farming currency or experience
Extra-coin and experience bonuses are utility choices. They can make repeated farming more productive, but compare their cost with the number of runs needed to recover that investment. A utility accessory is most defensible when you expect to use it across many runs rather than for one attempt.
If movement or ability downtime is the problem
Movement-speed and cooldown-reduction bonuses target time lost between attacks, objectives, or ability casts. Select them when the displayed effect corresponds to the bottleneck you can observe in your runs, not simply because the item has a higher rarity label.
Dated beginner example: Gentleman’s Top Hat
A beginner guide verified October 11, 2026 gives Gentleman’s Top Hat as an early-craft example. It reports a cost of 8 Fine Cloth and displayed bonuses of +3% Damage, +5% Experience, and +2 Walk Speed.
Those numbers belong to that guide’s dated report, not a guaranteed permanent recipe. Because another guide records October 2026 cost changes, open the current Gentleman’s Top Hat panel and confirm both the Fine Cloth requirement and the bonus text before farming for it. The example is useful for understanding how one accessory can combine combat, progression, and movement benefits; it should not be copied as a universal price list.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them
- Using an old cost: Recheck the recipe in-game whenever a guide has an update date earlier than your current patch.
- Spending evolution materials: Compare the accessory recipe with the weapon Evolution panel before crafting.
- Farming the wrong activity: Read the reward preview first; choose the route that lists the missing material.
- Assuming rarity is a power score: Judge the displayed bonus and your goal, because a complete scaling ladder is not established.
- Forgetting to equip the item: Verify the accessory in inventory and equip it after crafting.
- Overusing conversion or the shop: Treat gold purchases and conversion as ways to close a small gap, and preserve materials needed for the next planned upgrade.
- Assuming all weapons evolve alike: Requirements are weapon-specific, and Shadow Monarch is reported to have multiple stages.
Current checklist before you spend materials
- Open the live Crafting or Evolution panel.
- Write down the complete current requirement.
- Identify the one bonus or upgrade stage that addresses your immediate goal.
- Reserve materials for the main weapon evolution you intend to finish.
- Check Story, Infinite, boss, or HxH reward previews for the remaining shortfall.
- Review the current pity counter, shop price, or conversion option only if a small gap remains.
- Craft, equip, and verify the resulting effect in the item panel.
