In Animal Hospital (Anomaly), check a patient in person first, review the lobby or check-in CCTV next, and use the in-game photo if those checks do not reveal an anomaly. The available fan-made guides do not identify Liz or explain an oxygen-specific mechanic, so there is no supported instruction for pumping oxygen or stabilizing an oxygen patient. The steps below describe game mechanics, not veterinary care.
How to spot anomalies in Animal Hospital
A fan-made spotting guide recommends checking three separate channels. A clean result in one view does not establish that the others are clean: compare each view with the live patient and look for differences.
- Inspect the patient in person.
- If the patient looks normal, review the lobby or check-in CCTV.
- If both checks are clean, take and inspect the in-game photo.
- Reject the patient if a check flags an anomaly; admit the patient when all checks are clean.
In person
Look for an incorrect number of eyes, hollow eyes, sharp or human-like teeth, an unnaturally wide grin, or twitching.
On CCTV
Check for a black bar over the eyes, distorted limbs, a patient staring directly at the camera, a void-like body, or features that do not match the live patient.

In the photo
Compare the developed photo with the patient. The community guides describe mismatched features, static, and a cursed image as possible photo clues. They do not agree on how static should be handled: a June 19, 2026 spotting guide says to reject static photos, while a separate community guide reports a June 22 change to static-photo handling. Treat static as version-sensitive and check the current game behavior rather than assuming one rule applies.
When should you take a photo?
According to the fan-made spotting guide, take a photo only after the in-person and CCTV checks appear clean. It is a separate comparison channel, not a substitute for checking the patient or the camera feed. A photo that differs from the live patient can reveal an anomaly missed in the other views.

What to do with an ordinary patient
A fan-made walkthrough describes a general care loop for ordinary patients: check them in, read their condition on the HUD, collect the matching item, use it in the correct room, monitor the recovery gauge, and discharge them when treatment is complete.

- The walkthrough associates fluids with the IV Room.
- It associates stabilization with the Surgery Room.
The walkthrough does not specify an oxygen item, an oxygen-patient procedure, or how an oxygen treatment would fit into this loop. Do not infer a pumping or stabilization sequence from the general steps.

What the guides establish about Liz and oxygen
The reviewed fan-made sources do not identify a character or subject named Liz, explain a “Liz photo,” or give oxygen-specific gameplay instructions. They therefore do not establish which patient, screen, item, room, or interaction those terms refer to. If your game shows an oxygen patient or a Liz-related photo, use the current in-game prompts or a guide that explicitly documents that exact mechanic; the general anomaly checks above are not a substitute for missing oxygen instructions.

The spotting guide warns that rejecting genuine patients lowers score and cash. It advises against rejecting someone merely because the horror-game art looks unsettling; look for the specific anomaly cues in the relevant channel.

The mechanics here come from unofficial fan and community guides, not developer documentation. One fan-made walkthrough dated June 25, 2026 describes the experience as five shifts, each combining patient treatment and anomaly detection. Because the photo advice is inconsistent and gameplay may change, treat that sequence and the static-photo guidance as descriptions of those guides rather than guaranteed rules for every current version.
