To sync Angry Birds 2, first connect the game on the device with the progress you want to keep to a supported account. Then connect the same account on the other device. Rovio says the linked progress should download automatically, but the available connection depends on the devices involved.
Connect the device with your current progress first
Set up account linking on the device that already has the correct game profile. Avoid starting by linking an empty or different profile on the new device.
- Open Angry Birds 2 and go to the Main Flock screen.
- Tap your profile picture, then open the Sign in tab.
- Choose the supported service for your device—Facebook, Google Play, or Apple ID—and follow the prompts. Rovio describes this as the way to save progress: How can I save my progress?
Connect the same account on the other device
On the second device, open the game’s profile and Sign in area and connect the same account. Rovio says the game downloads linked progress automatically when the same supported account is connected. Allow the game to finish loading before playing.

Use one device at a time. Rovio cautions that playing on multiple devices simultaneously may cause progress synchronization issues; it does not specify which save would prevail if progress conflicts. See How do I play on multiple devices?.

Check whether your device pair is supported
Account options are not interchangeable across every platform combination. Rovio lists these cases in its multiple-device support guidance:
- Android and Google Play Games on PC: Connect using the same Google Play account.
- Two iOS devices: Link them with the same Apple ID.
- Amazon devices and mobile devices: Rovio says they can sync using the same Facebook connection.
- Mobile devices and PC: Rovio describes syncing with the same Facebook connection; for Google Play Games on PC, it also lists the same Google Play connection.
- Windows PC version: Rovio says its progress can sync only with another PC.
Rovio describes Android, iOS, Amazon, Google Play Games on PC, and Windows PC separately. If your specific PC edition, storefront, or device combination is unclear, check its current Where can I play Angry Birds 2? guidance rather than assuming any account works everywhere.

If your progress does not appear
When the old device still has the correct profile
Return to that device and connect the game to a supported account first. Then sign in with that same account on the new device. If you had already linked an account, try reconnecting through the correct service in the game’s Sign in area.
After a factory reset or device change
Rovio says a factory-reset device should restore the game automatically if it is connected to Facebook, Apple ID, or Google. Check that the internet connection is stable and that the devices meet the game’s system requirements. Its I’ve lost my account! article covers reconnection and recovery.

When account linking does not restore the profile
Contact Rovio Player Support through its official support channel. Rovio asks players who have lost an account to provide available identifying details, such as:
- Player name and Player ID, if remembered
- Approximate account creation time and last login date
- Devices used to play
- A screenshot of the oldest purchase receipt, if there were purchases
- Other details that may help identify the account
Provide information through the official channel and only what support requests. Rovio does not promise that every lost profile can be recovered.

Account for platform update timing
Game updates may be released on different dates for different platforms. If one device has an update that is not yet available on the other, you may need to wait until both installations are on compatible versions before switching between them. Rovio notes this timing issue in its update guidance for multiple devices.
