Anchorage Digital announced that it acquired Routable, an enterprise platform for automating business-to-business payouts. The announcement does not disclose the purchase price, deal structure, or financial terms. Anchorage CEO Nathan McCauley characterized it as the company’s largest acquisition by team size and revenue, but the announcement provides no comparison data to substantiate that description.
What Anchorage Digital announced
Anchorage Digital says it acquired Routable, which provides payout orchestration software for commercial and enterprise businesses. The “largest acquisition by team size and revenue” characterization is attributed to Anchorage’s CEO; the announcement does not provide figures or comparisons showing how the deal ranks against the company’s other acquisitions. It should not be read as a disclosed purchase price.
Why Anchorage says it bought Routable
Anchorage presents the deal as a way to connect its institutional digital-asset infrastructure with Routable’s enterprise payout-distribution layer. In the company’s description, Anchorage provides infrastructure for stablecoin issuance, custody, and settlement, while Routable coordinates payouts between a customer’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and payment rails.

The proposed combination is intended to let businesses manage payout operations and settle in dollars, euros, stablecoins, or tokenized deposits. McCauley said, “These entities move billions every day, and until now, few regulated partners could provide a seamless offering across both fiat and digital assets. With Routable, Anchorage Digital has become that partner.” This is Anchorage’s stated rationale, not a disclosed measure of Routable’s transaction volume or proof that every settlement option is already available.
What Routable does
Anchorage describes Routable as a developer-first API for commercial and enterprise payouts. Its stated workflows cover payee onboarding and verification, tax and compliance tasks, and high-volume payments to recipients such as creators, contractors, sellers, drivers, and affiliates.

- Coverage and rails: Anchorage says Routable reaches more than 220 countries and supports fiat and stablecoin payouts.
These are capabilities and coverage figures reported by Anchorage; the acquisition announcement does not provide independent product testing or detailed technical specifications.
What is known about Routable’s customers and growth
The announcement names Veho, Ethos, and Polestar as Routable enterprise clients. It also says Routable grew by more than 100% for two consecutive years. Anchorage does not give the revenue base, define the periods, or explain the calculation, so the growth figure is a company-reported claim rather than a fully documented financial metric.

What changes for customers, and when
Anchorage says Routable will operate as Routable by Anchorage Digital and that the combined company serves customers across both businesses “from day one.” It expects integrated offerings to roll out over the coming quarters, but gives no exact launch date or technical implementation schedule. Native stablecoin and tokenized-deposit settlement for Routable is described as planned, not as a feature with a stated general-availability date.
Routable CEO and co-founder Omri Mor said, “Joining Anchorage Digital means our clients get the same rails they rely on today, plus a regulated bridge into digital assets the moment they want it.” Routable co-founder Tom Harel said, “The companies we serve don’t think in terms of digital assets versus fiat, they think in terms of payouts that arrive. This acquisition means they never have to choose.” These statements describe the companies’ intended customer proposition; the announcement does not establish when each integrated capability will be available.
