Yes. Among Us supports controllers on mobile, a feature Innersloth announced in June 2021. But that does not mean every controller works with every phone, or that the game uses an identical control layout across devices. Check compatibility for your specific phone, controller, and current game version before buying a gamepad.
What mobile controller support means
Innersloth’s June 16, 2021 update announcement listed “Mobile controller support” among the released features. That establishes support as a game feature—not merely a capability provided by iOS or Android. Innersloth’s current Among Us game page describes cross-platform play among PC, Switch, Android, and iOS, and lists touchscreen, keyboard, and mouse inputs.
Those broad statements do not provide a current compatibility list for mobile controllers. The game page does not identify specific controller models or publish a complete mobile button map. Innersloth’s October 14, 2025 v17.0.1 patch note mentions a fix for a controller-related role-selection highlight issue in the How to Play menu; it does not certify any phone-and-controller combination.
Will your controller work with your phone?
That depends on the particular controller, phone, operating system, and game version. The official sources establish mobile support in general, but they do not confirm that every gamepad is supported or document how each one behaves. Do not treat a controller’s compatibility with your phone as proof that it will work fully in Among Us.

If you are considering a Bluetooth mobile game controller, check the controller maker’s compatibility details for your phone and operating system, then verify that the game supports that combination if the maker or seller provides that information. Check the return policy before purchasing in case the controls do not behave as you expect.

These are requirements for running the game, not a guarantee of controller compatibility. Check for newer device or game requirements if you are installing or troubleshooting after a major update.

Pairing and controls: what is documented
The official materials cited here do not provide a universal pairing procedure for mobile controllers or a complete mobile button mapping. Pair the controller according to the current instructions from its maker and your phone’s operating-system documentation; then check the game’s available settings and controls. The exact steps and behavior can differ by phone and controller, so do not assume one setup guide applies to every combination.

You do not need to assume that an unofficial remapping app, modified game, or workaround is required: Innersloth announced mobile controller support as a game feature. If a controller connects to your phone but does not work as expected in the game, confirm that the game and operating system are current, consult the controller maker’s support information, and verify compatibility before trying third-party tools.
