Amkette’s story is one of expansion: the company says it began in computer storage devices and now sells products across PC peripherals, audio, gaming, mobile and power. Its stated principle through that change is to develop products around consumer needs. The company gives 1986 as its establishment year, although the same About Us page also refers to 1984 as the beginning of its legacy.
When was Amkette founded?
Amkette identifies Allied Electronics and Magnetics Pvt Ltd as the company behind the brand and says it was established in 1986 as a computer storage device manufacturer. On the same About Us page, an EvoFox legacy section describes Amkette as a pioneering force since 1984. The page does not explain the difference, so the two dates should be understood as separate company references rather than resolved into one definitive founding date.
The 1986 establishment date makes “four decades” a reasonable description in 2026. The company’s published account, however, is not independent verification of its history, and it provides no quantified business-growth figures.

What is Amkette known for?
Amkette describes its approach as starting with consumer needs. Its stated vision says: “Every product we develop has to be based on a deep understanding of consumer needs. Innovation is the key.” The company’s stated mission is to become one of the most trusted brands in its industry and to offer products, experiences and services that exceed expectations. These are the company’s own aims, not independent measures of customer trust or product performance.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That consumer-needs-led idea offers a through-line for a catalog that has moved well beyond storage devices. The current storefront groups products into PC and audio, EvoFox gaming, and mobile and power, reflecting a broad range of everyday technology accessories rather than a single product type.

Adding gaming through EvoFox
Amkette connects EvoFox to its company legacy and says the brand aims to enable gaming for both core and casual players. The current storefront presents EvoFox gaming keyboards, mice, gamepads, headphones and cooling pads. The category shows how Amkette has extended its accessories business toward gaming; it does not, by itself, establish market leadership or product quality.

What should shoppers check in Amkette’s catalog?
Category labels are not enough to establish whether an accessory suits a particular device. Before choosing a product, check the specifications for the exact model and intended setup:
- Keyboard or mouse: Check the connection type, layout or form factor, and compatibility with the device you plan to use.
- USB hub or adapter: Confirm the hub’s port types and whether it supports your host device and intended peripherals.
- Charger: Match its output and supported charging standards to the device.
- Gaming controller: Verify compatibility with your gaming platform before buying.
Amkette’s Latest Launches collection has listed XS Flow and XS Natural wireless mouse families, but storefront collections and availability are subject to change. The available company pages establish categories and examples, not enough checked model specifications to recommend one product over another.

What the company’s history does—and does not—show
Amkette’s official account presents a recognizable arc: a 1986 start in computer storage devices, followed by a wider assortment of consumer electronics and peripherals, with EvoFox extending the catalog into gaming. Its stated focus on consumer needs is the company’s explanation of what guides that evolution. The available information does not establish independent assessments of product quality, customer trust, market position or business growth.
