LINE Games’ Steam activity for Amazing Slot Survivor (A.S.S.) was a time-limited playtest held from September 9 through September 30, 2026—not a permanent free demo. The single-player bullet-heaven action roguelite is being developed by TWOMENGAMES, with Steam listing November 12, 2026 as its planned release date, subject to change.
What happened with the Steam demo?
LINE Games announced on September 9, 2026 that the Steam playtest for Amazing Slot Survivor had opened. The playable window was scheduled to run through September 30, 2026, so that test is now over. Players joined through the game’s Steam page while the window was active.
The “demo” wording can be confusing. A first playable version had already been shown at Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026 in August. The later Steam activity was officially described by LINE Games as a playtest, intended to gather player feedback and improve gameplay and in-game systems. It should not be treated as an always-available demo unless the publisher announces another test or a permanent trial.
LINE Games official told Inven Global, “We will focus on listening to player feedback through this playtest to enhance the overall quality of the game.”

What kind of game is Amazing Slot Survivor?
Steam classifies A.S.S. as a single-player bullet-heaven action roguelite. In a bullet-heaven game, the screen fills with enemies and projectiles while the player concentrates on movement, positioning and build choices rather than manually aiming every attack.
The run structure
- Choose starting items before entering a run.
- Survive relentless enemy hordes while moving through the combat area.
- Find and destroy Spawners, which summon additional enemies.
- Select weapons and other build options as the run develops.
- Complete objectives and prepare for a boss encounter.
The Legendary Slot Machine
The defining risk-reward system is the Legendary Slot Machine. A jackpot can make the player 18 times stronger, but a spin can also revive the character or end the run. That means the machine is not simply an upgrade menu: using it can turn a losing run around or eliminate the progress you have built.

The September Steam playtest was time-limited, and the available information does not establish a permanent free-to-play model or a final launch price. A playtest or festival demo should not be taken as confirmation that the full game will be free. Check the Steam listing for the price and access conditions when the release is finalized.

When is Amazing Slot Survivor coming out?
Steam lists November 12, 2026 as the planned release date. “Planned” matters: LINE Games’ announcement described a goal of releasing on Steam and other major platforms within the year, while a store-page date can still move. The developer is TWOMENGAMES and the publisher is LINE Games Corporation.
Controller support and PC requirements
A.S.S. supports full controller input, including Xbox controllers. Steam also states that the developers recommend playing with a controller, making a wired or wireless Xbox-compatible controller a reasonable optional accessory for PC players.

What players should know before launch

- The game is single-player and PvE rather than a competitive multiplayer title.
- Destroying Spawners is part of the documented combat loop, not an optional side activity.
- The 18× figure describes the listed jackpot effect, not a measured performance result.
- The November 12 date is a target and may change before release.
