There is no defensible published average lifespan in years for Amazfit smartwatches. Amazfit’s published battery-life figures describe how long a watch runs between charges—not how many years the device remains usable. Total service life can’t be reliably inferred from those figures, warranty coverage, or individual owners’ experiences.
What Amazfit’s battery-life figures actually measure
Amazfit says its smartwatches are designed to last days, and sometimes weeks, depending on model and use. In this context, “last” means battery runtime per charge. It does not answer how many years a watch will remain in service. Amazfit India’s smartwatch FAQ
Bip 6 example: runtime between charges
Amazfit lists the Bip 6 at about 14 days under its typical-use scenario and up to 26 days in battery-saver mode. These are per-charge estimates, not a service-life forecast, and actual results can vary with settings and operating conditions. The typical-use scenario includes continuous wear, heart-rate measurement every 10 minutes, sleep tracking, 150 pushed messages a day, several GPS workouts a week, and specified display and call use. Does the warranty indicate how many years a watch will last?
No. A warranty defines a period and conditions for coverage; it is not a promise that a watch will stop working when coverage ends or remain usable for that whole period. Amazfit’s general policy gives eligible new physical products bought through its online store or authorized dealers one year of coverage against material or workmanship defects under normal use. Its India FAQ also states a one-year smartwatch warranty. A reviewed EU policy specifies two years for qualifying purchases there, illustrating that terms depend on market and purchase channel. How to care for an Amazfit watch in long-term storage
If you are storing an Amazfit Balance, its reviewed user manual recommends powering the watch off and recharging it to 100% every six months to help prevent damage from over-discharge. What to do if your watch’s runtime drops or it stops working
The reviewed official information does not establish a universal battery-replacement service or a guarantee of repair after warranty coverage ends. Before buying a battery or paying for a repair, check the exact model’s support options, your purchase region and channel, and whether the watch is still covered. Ask local Amazfit support about available options for your model; do not assume that a replacement battery or repair is available everywhere.
