These are the figures CHOICE lists for AF2503, not independent measurements of usable cooking volume or verified power draw. The claimed 3L capacity should not be treated as 3L of usable basket space. CHOICE says symbol-based controls on the Aldi models it discusses may take time to learn, and users may need to consult the booklet.

CHOICE marks the AF2503 as discontinued and lists a $40 price. The page does not state the price’s year, so it is a reference price from the review listing, not a current offer or evidence of present stock. Availability from any retailer is not established here.

CHOICE’s broader advice says spare parts may be easier to obtain through a dedicated appliance retailer than through Aldi. That is general guidance, not confirmation that parts for this discontinued model are available.
How to decide whether it suits you

- Measure the counter space available and compare it with the listed 33 × 25 × 32.5cm footprint.
- Check the basket’s usable cooking area; the claimed 3L capacity is not a measured usable-volume figure.
- Decide whether its food-specific published results match what you cook. Public evidence is favorable for several chicken and pork dishes but less favorable for frozen straight-cut chips.
- Try the touch controls and check whether the booklet is available, especially if symbol-based settings are unfamiliar.
- Confirm the seller’s return terms, warranty coverage and access to replacement parts, since CHOICE did not report warranty duration and marks the model discontinued.
A currently sold compact 3L fryer may be a more practical route if you want new stock or clearer support. Compare its usable capacity, footprint, temperature controls, food-specific test evidence, included accessories, warranty and current price; a similar capacity or Ambiano name does not establish that it is the AF2503 or performs the same way.

Similar names and capacities do not prove that two appliances are the same model. Teknihall’s page for the GT-AF-10, sold for Aldi Netherlands and Belgium, describes eight programs, preheat and keep-warm functions, a 60–200°C range and 1180–1400W power. It does not establish that the GT-AF-10 is the AF2503, so those details should not be applied to this review. Teknihall’s GT-AF-10 listing identifies that separate model. Likewise, an ALDI SUISSE 2024 Ambiano 3L manual does not identify AF2503, and its text does not confirm matching specifications.
