You can build a hotel voice-of-customer feed with Python and n8n only after confirming that each platform—or an authorized integration partner—permits access to the review data and the processing you plan to do. The available Agoda Content API documentation describes review counts and average ratings, not individual review text; Airbnb access is governed by program-specific terms rather than a universal review endpoint. Treat access, fields, and retention rights as prerequisites, not implementation details.
What a cross-platform review feed can—and cannot—assume
A consolidated feed is a useful operational goal, but it does not follow that both platforms provide every hotel with an API that returns review text. The documentation available for the two services supports different conclusions:
| Platform | What the reviewed documentation establishes | What to confirm before building |
|---|---|---|
| Airbnb | API access and permitted use depend on the applicable program documentation and partner-specific terms. There is no universal review-text endpoint established here. | Whether your organization has approved access to the relevant records, and whether collection, analysis, retention, display, and sharing are permitted for your workflow. |
| Agoda | The documented Content API includes hotel-level numberOfReviews and ratingAverage fields. The reviewed material does not document individual review-text retrieval. |
Whether Agoda or an authorized integration partner offers your hotel a permitted source for individual review text, and the fields and processing rights it includes. |
Agoda’s documented partner APIs cover accommodation content, search, bookings, and supply-side property operations; those capabilities do not establish a review-by-review feed. A private partner feed may exist, but the documentation described here does not prove that it does. Confirm directly rather than treating aggregate fields as review text.

Resolve permissions and data scope before writing the workflow
Check Airbnb access and use terms
Airbnb’s API terms describe a limited license tied to permitted purposes in the relevant program documentation and partner-specific terms. They also identify restricted uses, including certain forms of static-copy retention or database building, data analysis or derived data, redistribution, undocumented API use, and bypassing access controls. The exact obligations depend on the authorized program and applicable terms. Ask Airbnb or your program contact to confirm whether your proposed collection, archive, analysis, and internal distribution are permitted before designing a persistent review store or sentiment pipeline.
Keep monitoring separate from review solicitation. Airbnb’s host policy says hosts may not ask guests to review an Airbnb stay on another site or complete an off-platform survey about that stay unless they are an approved hotel partner.

Confirm what Agoda actually makes available to your account
Agoda’s documented demand API uses authenticated partner credentials; its documentation recommends OAuth 2.0 alongside API-key authentication. Authentication establishes who can use a supported API, not that the API exposes review text. The documented Content API fields for hotel review count and average rating are aggregates. Ask Agoda or an authorized integration partner whether individual text is available to your property, under what agreement, and with what storage and processing limits.
Record the approved scope in writing
For each platform and property, identify the account owner, authorized data source, approved fields, permitted purpose, retention period, access controls, and allowed analysis or sharing. Also confirm any rate limits and supported update cadence. A workflow should degrade to the permitted aggregate fields if review text is not authorized; it should not search for undocumented endpoints or scrape pages as a workaround.

Design the feed around the fields you are allowed to use
Once access is confirmed, normalize only fields returned by the approved source and permitted under its terms. A candidate internal record could contain:
platformand an approved property or listing identifier;- the review date, rating, and review text only when the source provides them and their use is allowed;
- a source record identifier, if provided and permitted to retain; and
- an ingestion timestamp for operational tracking.
This is a proposed internal shape, not a claim that either platform returns all of these fields. Keep source records traceable to the correct hotel; if property identifiers cannot be mapped confidently, quarantine the record instead of attaching it to a likely match.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Define retention and visibility before ingestion. Store no more than the approved fields, limit access to staff who need it, and set deletion or refresh behavior to match the applicable agreement. Airbnb’s restrictions make it especially important not to assume that permission to access data also permits building a long-lived archive or analyzing it.
Use Python for permitted transformations and n8n for orchestration
In this design, Python can normalize authorized records, deduplicate them using permitted identifiers, and perform only approved analysis. n8n can coordinate supported API requests and route resulting records or summaries. Neither tool supplies platform permission, credentials, or a supported review endpoint. An HTTP request in an n8n workflow is still subject to the API’s authentication, scope, and use terms.

- Confirm each source. Obtain the approved API or partner-integration details for each property, including credentials, supported fields, rate limits, and allowed processing.
- Map properties. Maintain an explicit mapping between your internal property ID and each platform’s approved identifier. Validate it before accepting records.
- Fetch only supported fields. Configure n8n to call documented endpoints with authorized credentials. If a source provides only counts or average ratings, pass along only those aggregates.
- Transform within scope. Have Python validate fields, normalize dates and ratings, and deduplicate only when permitted. Do not infer review text from aggregate values or add undocumented fields.
- Route a useful digest. Send approved records or summaries to the relevant hotel team on a cadence supported by the source. Treat cadence as something to confirm, not as a promise of real-time coverage.
- Review and govern. Give a human enough context to assess recurring service issues, restrict access, and apply the agreed retention and deletion rules.
No particular n8n node, template, Python client, or end-to-end integration is established here. Build against the partner’s current documentation and test only with credentials and data you are authorized to use.
Turn feedback into service improvements, not removal requests
Airbnb’s review policy emphasizes relevance, authenticity, and trustworthiness. It describes fake reviews as reviews not based on real reservations and prohibits practices such as incentivizing, pressuring, deceiving, extorting, or retaliating through reviews. A disagreement with a rating or a subjective opinion alone does not necessarily qualify a review for removal.
Use the feed to identify issues that staff can investigate—such as a recurring complaint about check-in or room cleanliness—and review the underlying context before changing operations. Do not treat a low rating as proof of misconduct or a negative opinion as grounds for removal. Keep any guest-review request on-platform unless the approved-hotel-partner exception applies.
