If your priority is character power, redeem the first 20 Daevanion Crystals before anything else. The Festival Shop prices those crystals at 50 Centuryroot Tokens each for the first 10 and 100 each for the next 10, for 1,500 tokens total. After that opening batch, compare your next Stigma breakpoint with the next Daevanion Crystal purchase. Buy wings, skins and other appearance rewards only after the progression purchases that improve your current build.
The short answer: spend in this order
Shugo Festival currency is limited by play time, key storage and character-specific shop caps, so an efficient order matters. The table below assumes a player whose goal is combat progress rather than collecting cosmetics.
| Priority | Reward | Cost or limit | Why it belongs here |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | First 20 Daevanion Crystals | 10 at 50 tokens each, then 10 at 100 each; 1,500 tokens total | Fastest guaranteed permanent progression early in the shop ladder |
| 2 | Stigma Shards | 300 tokens each; 35 per character | Move these ahead of later crystals when they complete a skill or specialization breakpoint |
| 3 | Later Daevanion Crystals | Next 15 at 200 each; final 15 at 400 each | Still useful, but token efficiency drops sharply after the first 20 |
| 4 | Wings, artwork and skins | Wings listed at 2,100, 4,200 and 8,350 tokens | Collection and appearance value; artwork may also affect Pantheon progress |
That order is a default, not a rule that overrides your character sheet. A Stigma purchase that immediately unlocks a major skill effect can be worth more than another incremental crystal. Conversely, if your next Stigma does not change your build, continue with the affordable Daevanion tier.

How the Shugo Festival generates rewards
Nine rotating minigames and an hourly event
The Shugo Festival consists of nine rotating minigames. The current 2026 field guide describes the event as unlocking at about level 10, running hourly and improving the contents of reward cards as your character levels. Entering a match does not consume a key. You spend a key when you claim the completed match’s card selection.
#1 Best Overall
Because card contents scale with level, a low-level character can participate, but the same key generally has a better payout once the character reaches the higher reward bands. If you are close to level 45 and are not at risk of losing a stored key to the cap, delaying a claim until the stronger table applies can be sensible. Do not delay if your key bank is full, because the refill system cannot add beyond its storage limit.
Keys are shared on a server, while shop limits are per character
Global accounts receive three keys through the daily refill. Standard storage holds 12 keys; Special Quai Membership storage holds 21. Keys are shared among characters on the same server, so one character can consume a key earned or stored for another. Festival Shop purchase limits, however, are character-specific. This distinction lets an account distribute play across characters while still allowing each character to buy its own capped materials.
- Check the key counter before the daily refill.
- Claim completed matches before storage reaches 12, or 21 with Special Quai Membership.
- Remember that entering a minigame is free in key terms; claiming the card screen is the point of consumption.
Placement controls how many cards one key opens
In the documented four-player Jump Jump example, first place receives four cards, second and third place receive three, and fourth place receives two. One key covers the entire selection, so finishing first does not cost extra. It gives you more reward rolls for the same key and therefore more Centuryroot Tokens, enhancement materials and Abyss Points over time.

What a reward card is worth
Below level 45, a basic selected card grants 40 Centuryroot Tokens. At level 45, the basic amount is 50. Four basic level-45 cards therefore equal 200 tokens before any bonus tokens or additional contents are counted.
| Character level or result | Documented card information | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Below level 45 | 40 Centuryroot Tokens from a basic selected card | Basic card amount |
| Level 45 | 50 Centuryroot Tokens from a basic selected card | Four basic cards equal 200 tokens before bonuses |
| Level 45 community estimate | 320–480 Abyss Points, 50 tokens and 700 Enhance Stones per card | Player-reported client-table data, not an official NCSOFT publication |
| First-place estimate | About 2,240 Abyss Points per key | Community estimate based on winning every documented match |
| Twenty-one weekly keys | About 47,000 Abyss Points | Community estimate assuming first place every time |
The Abyss Point and Enhance Stone figures come from a 2026 report in the Aion community, not a published official reward table. Treat them as an estimate for planning rather than a guaranteed drop. Actual card contents can vary with the live client, character level and any event adjustment.
Why the first 20 Daevanion Crystals come first
The opening price ladder is unusually efficient
The Festival Shop charges 50 tokens for each of the first 10 Daevanion Crystals and 100 for each of the next 10. Buying all 20 uses 1,500 tokens. These are the clearest early permanent-progression purchases because they improve the character rather than merely changing its appearance, and the initial prices are lower than the later tiers.

Plan token spending around this 1,500-token target instead of buying a cosmetic as soon as you can afford one. If you are short, keep a reserve for the final few tokens needed to complete the next crystal rather than scattering currency across unrelated items.

After the first 20, the next 15 crystals cost 200 each and the final 15 cost 400 each. The higher tiers require substantially more Festival play for each additional crystal. At that point, inspect your Stigma panel and ask whether a 300-token shard completes a meaningful upgrade. A crystal that only adds a small amount of progress can reasonably wait while a shard unlocks a key effect.
How to choose between Stigma Shards and later crystals
Buy the shard when it creates a real breakpoint
Stigma Shards cost 300 tokens each and are limited to 35 per character. Buying the full character allowance would require 10,500 tokens, so treat the cap as a long-term track rather than an instruction to purchase all shards immediately.

- Buy shards when the next one completes a Stigma level, skill enhancement or specialization breakpoint that you can use now.
- Prioritize an upgrade that changes a rotation, unlocks a needed effect or removes a known build limitation.
- If several shards are needed before any change occurs, compare that delayed benefit with the immediately available crystal tier.
Use a simple two-question check
- Open the Stigma screen and identify the next purchase that changes your build, not merely the next empty progress slot.
- Compare its 300-token cost with the current Daevanion price. Choose the option that produces the nearer meaningful improvement, then return to the other track.
This approach prevents a common mistake: treating the first 20 crystals and every later crystal as equally efficient. The shop’s escalating prices mean the correct answer can change after the opening batch.
When wings, artwork and skins make sense
Wings and skins are valid purchases if appearance, collecting or role-play is your primary goal. For a power-focused character, they come after the capped or breakpoint progression items. The listed wing prices are 2,100, 4,200 and 8,350 Centuryroot Tokens, so buying one can consume the currency that would otherwise fund many material purchases.

Although it is presented as a cosmetic-style reward, it may contribute to Pantheon progression. Check the item’s effect and your Pantheon objectives before dismissing it as purely visual. If it advances a Pantheon milestone you are actively pursuing, it can move ahead of a marginal late-tier crystal; if it has no useful effect for your account, keep it in the cosmetic tier.

Minigame tactics that increase your token income
Prioritize placement when the match rewards extra cards
In formats that award different card counts by rank, improving placement has a direct currency value because one key covers the whole card selection. Learn the rules of each rotation and play for the highest reliable finish rather than taking a needless risk for a small cosmetic side benefit.
The safe-tile cooperation method
A creator field guide notes that the safe-tile minigame can award the same maximum reward band to first and second place. It presents coordinated play as an optional player strategy, not as a published event rule. If the lobby agrees to share information or alternate risk, the whole group may obtain a better outcome than in a purely competitive run. The method depends on cooperation, can fail when players do not follow the plan and should never be treated as guaranteed.
A practical weekly routine
- Check the event timer. Sources have reported different registration schedules, so use the countdown shown in your live game client rather than a static timetable.
- Check key storage. Entering does not spend a key, but claiming does; make room before the daily refill reaches your storage limit.
- Play for placement. In card-count formats, aim for the highest finish you can achieve consistently.
- Claim and review the cards. Confirm the token total, materials and Abyss Points before leaving the reward screen.
- Track the next purchase. Keep a note of your current crystal tier, Stigma breakpoint and token balance so impulse cosmetics do not interrupt the plan.
- Spend before a patch if necessary. Prices, limits and reward tables are live-client values and can change with a regional update.
What can change and how to verify it
The prices, limits, reward tables and schedule described here are volatile client data checked in October 2026. Regional clients can receive patches at different times, and event tuning can change the number of tokens or materials on a card. Before committing a large balance, open the Festival Shop and read the current price and remaining-purchase counter on the item itself.
Quick Recap
- Use the in-game event countdown for registration timing.
- Verify whether your character is in the level-45 reward band before estimating token income.
- Confirm your key-capacity display, especially if Special Quai Membership is active.
- Read artwork tooltips for Pantheon effects instead of assuming every appearance item is cosmetic only.
- Treat community Abyss Point figures as planning estimates, not guaranteed payouts.
Final recommendation by player type
- Power-first main: Buy the first 20 Daevanion Crystals, then purchase Stigma Shards at meaningful breakpoints and return to the later crystal tiers.
- Alt or catch-up character: Use the same opening crystal rule, but direct shards toward the specialization the character is actually playing rather than buying the full cap automatically.
- Collector: Finish the progression purchases you care about, then save for the wing or skin whose appearance matters most to you.
- Pantheon planner: Inspect artwork effects and count any real Pantheon progress before ranking it with ordinary cosmetics.
