To fly longer in Aion 2, build a larger Flight Power pool if your regional client supports it, use available recovery items and routes, and alternate powered flight with gliding. The popular “glide exploit” is better treated as a reported momentum technique: it may help you cover more distance with your existing pool, but it does not increase maximum Flight Power and is not confirmed to work in every patch.
How Flight Power and the flight gauge work
Flight Power is described in recent guides as the resource that limits how long powered flight can continue. The official NCSOFT Taiwan guide says both flight and gliding consume the flight gauge; if the gauge is insufficient, your character falls. It lists V to start or end flight, Space to start or end gliding, Shift to accelerate, and W to move faster while gliding. Flight and gliding can be switched between immediately and share a cooldown. NCSOFT Taiwan’s flight and gliding guide was updated on 2025-11-18.
That guide confirms the basic controls and gauge risk for its regional client; it does not establish a global Flight Power stat table. Recent secondary guides describe Flight Power and wing bonuses, but another reference notes that this stat and its wing data were not confirmed in official announcements for the global build it reviewed. Treat the stat system as region- and patch-dependent, not universal. The wing reference guide distinguishes regional data from global confirmation.

Increase the available pool where supported
Recent guides say that collecting wings with a Flight Power Owned Effect can increase the available pool, and that an owned effect may remain active even when that wing is not equipped. One guide also describes enhancement as another possible source of additional Flight Power. These are secondary-source claims, and the sources do not establish a universal wing count, bonus value, or enhancement rule. Check your own Wings interface and current regional guidance before spending resources or relying on a specific total. See the Flight Power guide and the guide to extending flight duration.

Restore Flight Power and use the environment
Recent guides recommend carrying Wind Serum, which they describe as restoring Flight Power and being craftable through Alchemy, and using flight recovery rings where available. They also point to wind paths and updrafts as ways to move or gain altitude without relying on continuous powered flight. Availability may depend on your region or build, so verify these options in your client.
Stretch the pool with gliding
Gliding is not free of gauge use according to NCSOFT Taiwan’s guide, but the reported momentum technique alternates powered movement with a glide phase to make use of retained speed. It is an efficiency tactic, not a way to raise the maximum pool. The timing is less dependable than simply checking your interface or using an available recovery option.

Press V to deploy your wings, then hold W to move forward.

Press Shift to boost while flying.

When speed begins to fall, reopen flight with V and boost again if you have enough altitude and gauge.

A separate guide describes the same basic Shift-then-V transition, while a community post calls a variation “Dash → cancel → Dive → re-glide.” The sources describe a movement technique; they do not establish that it is a bug, an officially sanctioned exploit, or functional in every current client. Treat it as patch-sensitive and stop if your character is losing too much altitude. The community post is an anecdotal account rather than a controlled test.

Open the Wings interface and confirm whether Flight Power Owned Effects appear in your client and whether owned effects apply while a wing is unequipped.

Check current regional guidance for enhancement rules, Wind Serum, recovery rings, wind paths, and updrafts before planning around them.

Do not assume a specific wing total or enhancement bonus applies across regions. The available sources do not provide an authoritative global table.

One recent guide claims Flight Power drains at half the normal rate in the Abyss, but that figure is not corroborated by an official source or another independent source here. Do not rely on it unless your current client confirms it.
