Current third-party guides describe Aeon as a universal reward for completing Pack-a-Punch camo challenges in Black Ops 7 Zombies. The reported standard route is 18 map-and-tier challenges, each requiring 1,000 Zombies kills at a specified Pack-a-Punch level. A separate guide adds 15 Cursed-mode rewards and calls the total 33, but that count is not confirmed as current: Call of Duty later announced Cursed Mode and new Pack-a-Punch camos for Rex Infernus. Check the in-game Aeon challenge and camo collection before treating any total as final.
What is the reported Aeon unlock route?
Aeon is described by third-party guides as a universal camo tied to the Pack-a-Punch camo collection. The clearest reported standard route is to complete three kill challenges on each of six maps: 1,000 Zombies kills with a weapon at Pack-a-Punch Level I, another 1,000 at Level II, and another 1,000 at Level III. Kills count toward the challenge for the level specified; the guide does not describe them as interchangeable across tiers. Maxbit Games’ guide supplies the map list and camo names, but it is not an official Aeon checklist.
Across those 18 reported challenges, starting from zero means 18,000 tier-specific kills in total (18 challenges × 1,000 kills). That is arithmetic based on the guide’s requirements, not a separate official total.
Which standard Pack-a-Punch challenges are listed?
The guide reports the following three camos and corresponding Pack-a-Punch levels for each map. Use the levels shown by the in-game challenge if they differ from this third-party list.

For efficient progress, track each map and level separately. A weapon’s kills at Level I do not fulfill a Level II or Level III challenge, according to the reported requirements.
Do Cursed-mode Main Quests count toward Aeon?
A second third-party guide says the collection also requires 15 Cursed Pack-a-Punch camos: three each on Ashes of the Damned, Astra Malorum, Paradox Junction, Totenreich, and Kowakujō. It reports earning them by clearing each map’s Main Quest at Cursed Tiers I, II, and III. Combined with the 18 standard camos, that guide gives a total of 33. Do not assume that 33 is the definitive current total. In its August 13, 2026 Season 05 Reloaded announcement, Call of Duty confirmed that Rex Infernus received Cursed Mode and new Pack-a-Punch camos. The official announcement establishes the new content, but does not say whether those rewards count toward Aeon. It therefore does not resolve the Aeon checklist or establish Rex’s Cursed reward names and unlock conditions.

How can you verify your current progress?
Use the game’s own challenge and collection screens as the final authority, particularly for requirements affected by newer content.

- Open the Zombies camo challenge or camo collection menu.
- Find the Aeon challenge and read its displayed requirements; prioritize that text over an older third-party total.
- Review the Pack-a-Punch rewards shown for each map and mark which are unlocked and which remain incomplete.
- Check Rex Infernus separately for any currently displayed Cursed-mode or Pack-a-Punch rewards, rather than assuming they are included or excluded based on an older checklist.
The available sources do not establish an official menu path or a definitive post-Rex Aeon total, so the exact labels and screen layout may vary with the game’s current interface.

Maxbit Games says Aeon can be equipped in Warzone, Zombies, Multiplayer, and Endgame. That mode coverage is a third-party guide’s claim; the official launch coverage reviewed describes the broader weapon-camo and customization system, not Aeon-specific compatibility. Call of Duty’s launch progression overview provides general camo context but does not independently verify Aeon’s availability across those modes.
