These are specifications displayed by CHOICE, accessed in 2026; they are not independent measurements. The dimensions and 6.1kg weight suggest a substantial appliance, so check that you have counter space and somewhere to store it before buying.
Is the Adesso SCO-70 discontinued?
Yes. CHOICE labels the SCO-70 a “Discontinued model” on its exact-model page and also marks it discontinued in its comparison listing (CHOICE product listing; CHOICE slow-cooker comparison). That status does not prove that every remaining or second-hand unit is unavailable, but it means you should not treat the displayed $40.00 as a current selling price or assume replacement parts and warranty support are available.

If you find a unit, verify the model number on the appliance and ask the seller about its condition, return terms, and any warranty that applies to that specific sale. No SCO-70-specific manual or compatible replacement part is established in the available product information.
Is the SCO-70 dishwasher safe?
CHOICE says the ceramic cooking bowl is suitable for a dishwasher and fridge. This claim applies to the bowl only. It does not establish that the lid, appliance base, or any accessories are dishwasher safe, so do not put those components in the dishwasher based on the bowl specification.

Which functions are confirmed?
The accessible exact-model listing does not specify whether the SCO-70 has an end-of-cook indicator, keep-warm behavior, delayed start, pre-programmed settings, an auto setting, or a timer. Do not assume it has these features from a seller’s general description or from instructions for another Adesso model.
In particular, a Woolworths-hosted Adesso manual found for model XJ-14220 is for a 1.5L slow cooker, not the SCO-70. Its settings and specifications cannot verify how the SCO-70 operates.
