To link visitors to a particular section in manual mode, assign an anchor to the destination section, then link a navigation item, text, image, or button to it. Add the anchor in the section’s settings under Anchor, include a leading #, and update the website when you are done. The section-link instructions say the anchor name must begin with a letter.
Set an anchor on the destination section

In the builder, select the section visitors should jump to and open its settings.

Open the Anchor tab and enter an anchor name that starts with
#and then a letter. For example, use#contact-form. Click outside the settings box to save the anchor and close the box.

The section settings include the Anchor control, as described in the guide to adding and customizing sections.
Add a link that points to the section
Choose the link placement that fits how visitors will find it. The manual-mode link guide documents these options.

Image: Open the image’s action or link settings and set the destination.

Button: Use the button’s Link to setting.
Update the website and check the result
After setting the anchor and link, update the website so the change appears online. Then use the link on the published site to confirm it takes visitors to the intended section.

Know which sections do not support anchors
Blog, slideshow, and store sections do not support anchors. Do not rely on this workflow to jump to one of those section types.
Use a button to return to the top
A button in the page’s final section can link to the top section, providing a back-to-top control. Set the top section as the destination using its anchor, then configure the button’s Link to setting.
