In Hostinger AI Builder’s manual mode, open Pages and navigation, add a dropdown, and drag pages or links beneath it using their six-dot handles. Use a simple dropdown for a non-clickable heading, or nest items under a page when the heading should open a landing page.
Add a simple dropdown

Open the website editor and expand Pages and navigation on the left.

Select Add a new dropdown.

Rename the new dropdown item to the label you want visitors to see.

Drag each page or link by its six-dot handle so it appears underneath the dropdown.
This creates a heading that expands on hover. The heading itself is not clickable and does not open a page. See Hostinger’s dropdown instructions.
Choose whether the dropdown title should open a page

For the second setup, choose an existing page or create one to serve as the parent. Drag child pages or links beneath it, positioning them to the right so they appear nested below the page icon. The official guidance describes both behaviors.
Add links or change their order
If you need a destination that is not already a page, add a navigation link. Hostinger lists these destination types: web address, existing page, file download, section, phone number, email address, and WhatsApp. After adding the link, drag it by its six-dot handle to place it under the dropdown or reorder it in the navigation. Move an item out of a dropdown

In Pages and navigation, find the page or link you want to move.

Open its settings wheel and choose Move out from dropdown.
The item is no longer nested and becomes an individual navigation item; it is not deleted. Deleting the dropdown also leaves its assigned pages or links as individual items, according to Hostinger’s dropdown guidance.

When Transparent Header is enabled, the dropdown background is transparent too. To give the dropdown a solid background, turn off Transparent Header in the header settings and choose a header background color; that color is used for the dropdown as well. The behavior is documented in Hostinger’s dropdown instructions.

The dropdown does not work in the editor or preview
Hostinger cautions that links, including dropdown menus, may be blocked in the editor and preview because they may not technically exist until the website is published or updated. Publish or update the site before concluding that the live menu is broken. See Hostinger’s note about preview behavior.
A page does not appear in the menu
Pages under Main navigation appear in the menu bar; pages under Hidden from navigation do not. Hiding a page from navigation does not make it private: it can still be reached by URL and may appear in search engines. To keep it out of search results, use the page’s SEO settings. Hostinger explains these distinctions in its manual-mode navigation guide.
