- Preview the form. Open the Preview link on the official V6 page to inspect the layout and controls before choosing it.
- Download and inspect the files. Use the Download link, then review the included files and any license or attribution information packaged with them.
- Check compatibility. Compare the template’s markup and dependencies with your store’s platform and Bootstrap setup. The listing does not state a Bootstrap version, so do not assume compatibility from the framework name alone.
- Integrate and verify. Add the form to the relevant store interface, then test its appearance and behavior at the screen sizes and on the devices your customers use. The listing does not provide quantified test results, so your own verification matters.

The page shows a publication date of March 17, 2021, and separately labels the template “Released: 2025.” Colorlib’s listing does not explain why those dates differ, so neither should be treated as a settled launch date without clarification.
Should you choose V6 or another version?
The official page also links to Search Form V5 and V7, but does not explain how their features differ. Compare the available previews and downloaded files directly: look at the layout, controls, responsive behavior, dependencies, and integration effort. Version numbers alone do not establish which one is a better fit.
