Acqua di Parma Cedro Virtuoso is a woody-gourmand Eau de Parfum built around cedarwood and hazelnut, with bergamot adding brightness. Its fresh-to-warm profile makes “transitional scent” a useful description, but published evidence does not establish that it lasts a specific number of hours on skin. The fragrance is part of the Signatures of the Sun collection.
What does Cedro Virtuoso smell like?
Acqua di Parma describes Cedro Virtuoso as woody-gourmand, balancing a bright opening with warmer, creamier woods and gourmand notes. The central idea is Virginia cedarwood and hazelnut essence developed together through co-infusion or co-maceration, according to the brand’s September 1, 2026 launch announcement.
The brand’s official note pyramid gives the composition this progression:
- Opening: Virginia cedarwood and hazelnut essence, Calabrian bergamot, and musk.
- Heart: Atlas cedar and Alaska cedar.
- Base: Tonka bean absolute, sandalwood, and Ambrox.
Acqua di Parma says the hazelnut turns creamy and buttery while cedar keeps the composition dry and structured. That is the brand’s description of the intended character, rather than an independent wear test. T3 also framed the bergamot as a bright counterpoint to cedar and hazelnut in its September 11, 2026 coverage.

Is it a transitional-season fragrance?
Its contrast between citrus brightness and warmer woods makes Cedro Virtuoso a plausible choice when you want something less overtly summery but not exclusively a cold-weather scent. “Transitional” describes that balance; it is not a rule about when the perfume can be worn. T3 presented it as a way to carry some summer brightness into autumn, while Acqua di Parma emphasizes both fresh and enveloping facets.
How long does Cedro Virtuoso last on skin?
There is no verified, objective wear-time figure for the Eau de Parfum in the available published sources. Acqua di Parma does not state a number of hours on its fragrance page. Parfumo displays subjective longevity ratings of 6/10 and 8/10 from two reviewers; those differing individual impressions are not a controlled test or a guarantee of performance for other wearers. Longevity and projection are also different: a fragrance may remain detectable to the wearer after it stops projecting far enough for others to notice. Without a documented wear test under stated conditions, “long-lasting” should be treated as unverified rather than as a dependable performance claim.

Availability and prices vary by market and can change. At access on October 11, 2026, Acqua di Parma’s official US fragrance listing showed Cedro Virtuoso Eau de Parfum starting at $267. That is a storefront snapshot, not a guaranteed price for every bottle size or a lasting price.

T3 reported UK availability through John Lewis and listed 50 ml, 100 ml, and 180 ml bottles, plus a 12 ml size. Its September 11, 2026 article gave a starting price of £180 / $260; this is dated editorial reporting, not a current universal price. T3 also reported a candle, diffuser, body cream, and hand and body wash in the wider Cedro Virtuoso range.
The brand’s UK 180 ml diffuser listing states a duration of 10–12 weeks. That figure applies to the home diffuser, not the Eau de Parfum, and cannot be used to infer how long the perfume lasts on skin.

Should you buy it?
If you like cedar-led scents with a creamy gourmand accent and a brighter citrus opening, Cedro Virtuoso’s stated composition may suit your preferences. If skin longevity is the deciding factor, the published evidence does not settle that question. Consider sampling before committing to a full bottle, and check your local store for current sizes, prices, and sample availability; a reported miniature or fragrance trial is not proof that a sample is available in every market.
