Absolum’s new mobile gameplay trailer puts its fully customisable touch controls front and centre. That matters in a fast, side-scrolling roguelite beat ’em up, where cramped or poorly placed buttons can slow movement, dodges and attacks. The iOS and Android editions are scheduled for November 5, 2026, with controller support, achievements and cloud saves; Android also has documented cross-progression with the PC version.
What the new Absolum mobile trailer shows
Footage reported on October 15, 2026 highlights “fully customisable control placement.” Players can arrange the on-screen inputs around their preferred grip, finger reach and screen orientation instead of being locked to one preset. The trailer also shows Absolum’s magic-and-metal combat in motion, including the rapid exchanges expected from a modern beat ’em up.

Custom placement is particularly useful when several actions must be triggered in quick succession. A player who uses two thumbs, a claw grip or a larger phone can move buttons away from areas covered by their hands and keep frequently used attacks within reach. Release date, platforms and current price information
Playdigious’ support information lists November 5, 2026 as the mobile availability date. Android users can pre-register, while the iOS App Store offers pre-order. Because store metadata can change before launch, treat the date as scheduled rather than guaranteed until the listing becomes a released product.

The mobile edition is associated with Playdigious, while Dotemu originally published the game and credits Guard Crush Games and Supamonks as development partners. The mobile launch follows the 2025 PC and console release rather than replacing it.

The Google Play listing describes a “revamped interface” with an exclusive mobile UI and complete touch control. The iOS listing likewise advertises a redesigned interface and complete touch input. In both cases, touch is a core supported method, not merely a fallback for players without accessories.

Physical controller support
Both mobile listings confirm controller compatibility. On iOS, the listing specifies MFi controllers. Android players can use a compatible mobile game controller, but should check the controller’s connector or wireless standard, phone compatibility and operating-system support before buying. A controller is optional; the customisable touch layout is designed to support phone-only play.
Achievements and saves
Android includes Google Play Games achievements and cloud save. The listing also states: “Buy once, play anywhere: Enjoy cross-progression on mobile and PC with the same Google Play Games account.” That is the clearest platform-specific confirmation that Android progress can carry over to PC when the same Google Play Games account is used.

On iOS, the listing advertises Game Center achievements and cloud save between iOS devices. The available store wording does not establish iOS-to-PC cross-progression, so owners should not assume that an iPhone save will transfer to another ecosystem.

How Absolum’s roguelite structure fits mobile play
Absolum is set in Talamh, a fantasy world where four rebels—Galandra, Karl, Brome and Cider—oppose Sun King Azra and the Crimson Order. Its combat combines side-scrolling beat ’em up action with roguelite progression.
