The strongest documented cheat for A Dance of Fire and Ice is firestix, entered on the main menu after clearing 6-X. It restores the April 2025 Firestix joke-world content, including alternate versions of Worlds 1–6 and a route to a new B-X variant. A separate GameFAQs page lists additional PC codes for secret levels, cosmetics, practice options, and shortcuts, but those entries are community submissions rather than developer guarantees.
Use the tables below by purpose and entry point. The sources do not establish that the community codes work on every PC build, Steam version, console, or mobile release, so treat a code that fails as a compatibility or source-reliability issue rather than proof that you entered it incorrectly.
What the codes actually cover
A Dance of Fire and Ice is a strict rhythm game from 7th Beat Games in which two orbiting planets travel along a winding path. The Steam release and the separately listed Neo Cosmos DLC are digital products. Cheat information falls into two very different categories:

firestixsurprise announced by 7th Beat Games on April 1, 2025. - Community-reported PC entries: instructions collected on a GameFAQs cheats page. That page permits reports that a code is non-working or fake, so its list should be read as reported behavior, not an official compatibility chart.
No inspected source supplies a complete, version-by-version inventory. The list below is therefore useful for lookup, but it is not evidence that every code remains enabled or works outside the PC context specified by GameFAQs.

The official Firestix code
Requirements and exact entry point
- Reach and clear 6-X first. The developer announcement identifies this as the prerequisite.
- Return to the main menu.
- Type
firestix. The announcement says this creates a new main-menu tile represented by a crab. - Select the crab tile to enable the alternate content.
The code is not a conventional stat boost. It switches the game into joke versions of the first few worlds. Clearing the new versions of Worlds 1 through 6 unlocks a new version of B-X. Selecting the crab tile again toggles back to the normal game.
April 2025 timing and current expectation
The surprise was announced as an April 1, 2025 event running until April 8. The same announcement also says the code could bring the levels back afterward. That wording supports trying firestix outside the event window, but it does not mean the limited-time event is still actively running or that every later game build must retain it. If the tile does not appear after meeting the 6-X requirement, record your game version and platform before assuming the code is permanently disabled.
7th Beat Games closed the announcement with: “Have fun with it! We hope you enjoy the little surprise.”

Choose a code by what you want to do
Reach a secret level
For One Forgotten Night, the reported options are quree and star4th. The first is listed as an unlock for the ultra-hard level itself. The second is listed for its Speed Trial mode, which the page describes as having no checkpoints. Because neither entry has a specified input screen, do not infer that they use the main menu simply because other codes do.
Practice without a normal fail state
practice is the relevant entry when you want a pause-screen no-fail toggle. Type it in the lobby, then look for the toggle in the pause screen. The reported consequence is important: progress does not save while no-fail is active. Use it for learning a pattern, not for a completion attempt you expect to record.

Move between the main levels and Challenge Island
imacheater is a navigation shortcut with two directions. On the main level screen it takes you to Challenge Island; on Challenge Island it takes you back. If the code appears to do nothing, check that you are on one of those two screens rather than in a level, lobby, or world-select view.
Copy or download community levels
Enter copy in the lobby. The reported result is a new tile beside the main levels. The source does not state a storage limit, moderation policy, or guarantee that downloaded content is compatible with every build, so keep the effect limited to the tile it is documented to add.
Change the appearance
The cosmetic entries are thonk for emoji balls, samurai for Samurai-themed planets, transrights for light-blue and pink planets with a white smoke trail, NBRIGHTS for the reported yellow-purple and black-white-trail palette, typing for keyboard-letter tiles, and the Konami-style sequence for rainbow planets. The source does not provide a common entry screen for these items; use the specific screen stated in the table where one exists.

Minesweeper and the DLC uncertainty
kaboom is listed as a main-menu code for a secret Minesweeper level. GameFAQs says it probably requires Neo Cosmos DLC, but labels that condition as probable rather than confirmed. Do not treat owning the DLC as a guaranteed fix, and do not treat a failure without the DLC as proof that the code is invalid.
The same GameFAQs page describes an iOS secret involving clicking bombs in puzzle rooms in a DLC it calls “No Cosmos.” The Steam store separately lists Neo Cosmos. Because the page’s platform and DLC wording do not line up cleanly with that Steam listing, the iOS route should be considered an unverified report, not a cross-platform procedure. No source here establishes that the PC kaboom route and the iOS bomb-clicking route are the same implementation.

For a documented word code, type the characters exactly as printed, including the uppercase spelling of NBRIGHTS. For the sequence, enter the directional and face-button inputs in order and finish with Enter, as the page specifies.

Troubleshooting when a code does nothing
Check the screen first
The most common avoidable mistake is using the right code in the wrong context. Return to the exact menu named in the table. In particular, distinguish the lobby from the main menu, and the main level screen from Challenge Island.
Check prerequisites and consequences
firestix requires 6-X cleared. kaboom has only a probable DLC requirement. practice intentionally prevents saving while no-fail is active, so a missing completion record there is reported behavior rather than necessarily a broken save.
Account for platform and build differences
The detailed list is explicitly presented as a PC cheats page. The inspected material does not establish compatibility with iOS, Android, consoles, or every Steam build. The Firestix announcement is the developer’s own documentation, but even that announcement dates the event to April 2025 and only says the code could restore the levels afterward.
Treat community entries as reports
GameFAQs allows users to flag codes as non-working or fake. If a community entry fails after you have checked its menu and prerequisite, record the game version and platform and avoid assuming the behavior is universal. There is no evidence here for a complete or permanently maintained code inventory.
A safe lookup checklist
- Back out to a menu before entering a code so you can identify the current context.
- For the official route, confirm that 6-X is cleared, type
