The VITURE Pro 2 is a wearable display, not a self-contained XR computer: it needs a compatible phone, handheld, console setup or other source device to show content. That makes it most compelling for portable gaming and movies, where a private, floating screen can matter more than edge-to-edge text clarity or built-in audio. Whether it is worth the listed $299 depends on your host device, fit and any dock or adapter your setup requires.
What the VITURE Pro 2 is—and is not
VITURE’s homepage listed the Pro 2 at $299 when checked in 2026; price and stock can change. The product is best understood as glasses that display video from another device, rather than a standalone spatial computer. AndroidGuys’ September 22, 2026 review describes dual Sony Micro-OLED panels and a standard USB-C connection, and reports that the glasses have no camera, standalone operating system or internal battery. Spatial features, according to that review, depend on the connected host and SpaceWalker software. Check the exact requirements for your intended device before buying.

Tom’s Guide’s August 6, 2026 review reports 1080p resolution, a 146-inch virtual screen, up to 120Hz, a 50-degree field of view, 2.2-ounce weight and up to 1,600 nits perceived brightness. These are specifications attributed to that review, not independently verified here against a current model-specific official spec sheet. A virtual-screen size is an immersive viewing description, not a physical screen measurement or a guarantee that every viewer will perceive the same image.

Handheld gaming and travel
Gaming on a compatible handheld is one of the clearest use cases in the independent reviews: the glasses give you a private display without carrying a conventional monitor. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer liked the viewing and gaming experience. For travel, the same setup can make a portable screen useful when space or privacy matters, provided you have a compatible source device and a way to power or connect that device.

Do not assume that every console plugs straight in. Tom’s Guide says console gaming, including use with Switch 2, needs an additional dock. AndroidGuys also notes that some devices require extra hardware. Verify the exact console, dock and connection path before budgeting; the Mobile Dock Mini is among the accessories listed by VITURE, but the available evidence does not establish it as mandatory for every setup.
Movies and video
A large-feeling private display can be attractive for watching films or other video on a trip or at home. The practical value depends on whether your video source supports the connection and whether the image sits comfortably in your view. The cited reviews support movies as a plausible fit, but they do not establish a universal viewing experience across faces, prescriptions, content apps or host devices.
Reading and productivity
The glasses are a less certain choice for text-heavy work. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found work and reading less comfortable than gaming and viewing. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a guarantee that every user will find text difficult; still, if your main goal is spreadsheets, documents or prolonged reading, try the fit and text clarity before committing if you can.

- 【A 1200P ULTRA SHARP DISPLAY YOU'LL NEVER FORGET — EVEN SHARPER THAN BEFORE】Step into a jaw-dropping 152" virtual screen with revolutionary 1200p resolution that feels like 4K. Text is razor-sharp with zero blurry edges, making this the sharpest XR display for reading, working, and gaming — powered by VITURE's proprietary optical "secret sauce" and the latest Sony Micro-OLED panels with 35% lower power consumption, further reducing heat while delivering extended battery life for longer sessions.
- 【Full 6DoF Support | Hand Gesture Control via Pro Neckband】 Luma Ultra features a front RGB camera and dual depth cameras for spatial awareness, enabling more advanced XR interaction than standard display glasses. When paired with VITURE Pro Neckband, it supports full 6DoF tracking and hand gesture control, allowing you to interact with spatial interfaces in a more natural way. It is ideal for users who want to go beyond watching video and explore a more interactive XR experience. Feature availability depends on device, app, and connection method.
- 【Sony Micro-OLED, 1500 nits & 120Hz | Bright, Sharp, Smooth】 Whether you are watching movies in a bright living room, checking small game UI on a handheld console, or expanding your PC workspace, Luma Ultra is designed to keep visuals bright, clear, and easy to read. Sony Micro-OLED displays, 1500 nits brightness, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a 52° field of view help deliver smooth motion and deeper immersion for gaming, streaming, and productivity.
- 【SpaceWalker Support | Multi-Screen, 3DoF, One-Click 3D & Ultra-Wide】 Luma Ultra works with SpaceWalker to unlock a broader XR experience on supported platforms. Use 3DoF head tracking, multi-screen workspaces, ultra-wide display, One-Click 3D, and immersive 3D experiences where supported. On Mac and Windows, you can place multiple virtual screens side by side for documents, browsers, chat, coding, editing, or streaming. 2D-to-3D conversion requires SpaceWalker, and support may vary by OS, app, content, and connection method.
- 【iPhone 17/16/15 Series Support | Adapter Ultra Unlocks iOS XR Features】 Luma Ultra can display content from compatible USB-C video-output iPhone 17/16/15 series devices. For the full SpaceWalker experience on iOS, pair it with the USB-C XR Charging Adapter Ultra(Launching Soon) to enable features such as 3DoF head tracking and multi-screen functionality. iPhone 16e and iPhone 17 Air are not compatible with VITURE XR Glasses. Older adapters, including the standard USB-C XR Charging Adapter and HDMI XR Adapter, do not support Luma Ultra.
What to check before buying
- Host compatibility: Identify the exact phone, handheld, console or computer you plan to use. The Pro 2 depends on a source device, and a USB-C connector alone does not prove that a particular device or app will work.
- Required accessories: Check whether your setup needs a dock, adapter or other hardware, and include that cost in your total. Console use may require an additional dock, according to Tom’s Guide.
- Fit and vision adjustment: Comfort and image placement are personal. Try the glasses if possible, especially if you expect long sessions or need vision adjustment.
- Audio expectations: Tom’s Guide’s reviewer described the speakers as quiet and tinny. If clear or immersive sound is important, plan for headphones rather than assuming the integrated audio will suit you.
- Text use: If work or reading is the priority, assess small text at the edges as well as the central image. The available reviews do not establish that the display suits every productivity workflow.
- Price comparison: Compare the total setup price, including any needed accessories, rather than glasses alone. The cited sources mention other XR glasses but do not provide enough like-for-like evidence to rank alternatives.
Is the VITURE Pro 2 worth it?
It is easiest to justify if you already own a compatible host and want a portable private screen mainly for handheld gaming, movies or travel. It is harder to recommend as a general-purpose work display or as a standalone XR device: it relies on another device, may need extra hardware for some setups, and the cited reviewer raised concerns about work readability and built-in sound. At the $299 price VITURE listed in 2026, decide based on your complete setup cost and whether the large-feeling display matters more to you than those trade-offs.
Check VITURE’s current Pro 2 listing for current price and availability; both may differ from the 2026 listing.
