To see posts you’ve liked on Instagram, open Instagram, tap your profile picture, open the three-line menu, choose Your activity, then Interactions and Likes. Tap any thumbnail to reopen the photo, video, or Reel in the app. Instagram shows only your 300 most recent liked posts, not an unlimited archive.
The same route generally works on iPhone and Android, although Instagram can change labels and layouts by app version, device, account, or region.

Instagram usually presents the same navigation on iPhone and Android. If the labels look slightly different, look for Your activity first, then find Interactions and Likes inside it.

What appears in Instagram’s Likes section?
The Likes section is a list of recent Instagram posts that you liked by tapping the heart. The official wording covers recent photos and videos, and the list can also contain Reels. Tap the thumbnail rather than assuming every item is a standard photo post.
The Likes screen should not be treated as a record of every interaction on Instagram. Stories, comments, direct messages, and other activity are not established by the cited Likes documentation as content types that appear in this particular list.
How many liked posts can Instagram show?

How do you unlike posts from the Likes screen?
You can review and remove likes from Your activity → Interactions → Likes. Instagram’s Your activity documentation explains that users can manage likes and other account activity.
If your version shows Select, choose one or more posts and tap Unlike or Remove Like. You can also open an individual post from the list and tap the filled heart to remove the like. Selection and bulk-unlike controls may not appear identically on every account or app version.

Removing a like does not restore an unavailable post or move an older item back into the Likes list. Instagram also documents circumstances in which liking, unliking, and liking a post again can generate activity or push notifications for the post’s owner; consult its liking and unliking guidance if notification privacy is important.
Can you see liked posts on Instagram from a computer?
On desktop, sign in to Instagram and open Your activity from the account menu. Look for Interactions → Likes if those controls are available in your browser. Instagram’s official help page includes computer instructions for accessing recent liked posts.
Desktop controls can differ from the mobile app and may not expose the same menu at all times. If the browser does not show Likes, use the Instagram mobile app, which is the more reliable route for this task.
Why can’t you find a post you liked?
If a previously liked post is missing from Instagram’s Likes list, check the following possibilities in order:
- The post is outside the 300-item history. Instagram displays the 300 most recent posts you liked, so an older like may no longer be visible.
- The wrong account is open. Sign out or switch accounts and confirm that you are checking the profile that originally liked the content.
- You accidentally unliked the post. Tapping the filled heart a second time removes the like.
- The post was deleted or removed. A deleted post cannot be reopened from your activity history.
- The account or post became private. If you no longer have access to a private account or post, the item may not open.
- You interacted with a different content type. The item may have been a Story or another interaction that is not represented in the Likes list.
- You saved it instead of liking it. Check Saved if you tapped the bookmark rather than the heart.
These are practical explanations rather than a guarantee that one specific cause applies. If the thumbnail appears but the post will not open, the content may no longer be available to your account.
What if Likes is missing from Your activity?
If Likes does not appear, confirm that you are signed in to the intended Instagram account and search inside Your activity → Interactions, rather than only looking through general Settings.

- Verify the active Instagram account.
- Open Profile → menu → Your activity.
- Open Interactions and check whether categories such as Likes or Comments are listed.
- Update Instagram through the official App Store or Google Play Store.
- Force-close Instagram and reopen it.
- Sign out and sign back in.
- If necessary, reinstall the app.
- Try the desktop account menu as a cross-check.
- If the feature remains unavailable, use Instagram’s in-app help or reporting tools.
Instagram says users must be logged in to access Your activity and that the area is used to review and manage likes, comments, and other account activity. Updating the app may fix a stale or broken interface, but an update cannot guarantee that every account will immediately show the same controls because temporary bugs, account-level issues, and staged interface changes can affect what appears.
What is the difference between liked and saved posts?
A Like is an engagement action made with the heart button. A Save is a bookmarking action made with the bookmark button. Instagram’s recent Likes list is limited to 300 displayed posts, while Saved is the more suitable feature when you want to build a personal collection for later.
To look for a saved post, open your profile menu and choose Saved. Do not assume that a post you remember viewing was liked: if you used the bookmark, it belongs in Saved rather than in Your activity → Interactions → Likes.
Can other people see posts you have liked?
A like on a public Instagram post can be visible to people who can view that post, and your username may appear with the post’s likes. Instagram explains who can see likes on Instagram.
Private-account settings do not mean that every like on another person’s public post becomes invisible. For a private account’s own posts, only approved followers can see those posts, but visibility of a like also depends on the post being viewed and the people who can access it.

No. Instagram documents the Likes history as a way to view your own recent liked posts, not as a tool for browsing another person’s complete private activity archive. Other people may see a like on an individual public post, but that is different from accessing the person’s full Likes list.

Avoid third-party “Instagram activity viewer” or “unlimited likes history” services that request your Instagram password. The official Instagram workflow does not require an external recovery tool, and credential-requesting services create unnecessary account-security and privacy risks.

Can I see every post I have ever liked on Instagram?
No. Instagram says the Likes area shows your 300 most recent liked posts, so Instagram does not provide an unlimited all-time Likes archive through this screen. Older posts may be outside the displayed history or unavailable for another reason.
Does Instagram’s Likes list include Reels?
