Para abrir WhatsApp Web, entra en web.whatsapp.com desde un ordenador y vincula el navegador con tu cuenta mediante un código QR. También puedes usar un código numérico si no quieres escanear el QR.
Qué necesitas antes de empezar
- Un ordenador con acceso a Internet.
- El teléfono donde está activa tu cuenta de WhatsApp.
- La aplicación de WhatsApp actualizada.
- Un navegador compatible: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox u Opera actualizados. En Safari, WhatsApp Web requiere Safari 15 o posterior.
Comprueba que la dirección sea exactamente web.whatsapp.com. No introduzcas tu número ni escanees códigos en páginas con dominios parecidos.
Cómo abrir WhatsApp Web con código QR
- Abre web.whatsapp.com en el navegador del ordenador.
- Espera a que aparezca el código QR.
- Abre WhatsApp en el teléfono.
- En Android, toca Más opciones (⋮) y después Dispositivos conectados.
- En iPhone, abre Configuración y toca Dispositivos conectados.
- Selecciona Conectar un dispositivo.
- Confirma tu identidad con Face ID, Touch ID, el código del teléfono o la contraseña que solicite el dispositivo.
- Apunta el lector de WhatsApp hacia el código QR que aparece en la pantalla del ordenador.
Después de unos segundos, tus chats deberían cargarse en el navegador. El código QR debe leerse desde Dispositivos conectados; abrir la cámara normal del teléfono y apuntar al código no vincula la cuenta.

Si la cámara no enfoca el código o prefieres escribir un código, utiliza la opción de vinculación mediante número de teléfono:

- Entra en web.whatsapp.com.
- Selecciona Conectar con número de teléfono. En algunas versiones aparece como Conectar con número de teléfono en vez de eso.
- Escribe el número de teléfono de tu cuenta de WhatsApp.
- El navegador mostrará un código de vinculación.
- En el teléfono, abre WhatsApp y entra en Dispositivos conectados.
- Toca Conectar un dispositivo y elige Conectar con número de teléfono en vez de eso.
- Introduce en el teléfono el código que aparece en el navegador.
Este código es específico de esa solicitud. No lo confundas con el código de verificación enviado por SMS ni con el PIN de la verificación en dos pasos.
Qué hacer si WhatsApp Web no se abre

Cómo cerrar WhatsApp Web desde el teléfono
No necesitas volver al ordenador para terminar una sesión:
- Abre WhatsApp en el teléfono.
- En Android, toca ⋮ → Dispositivos conectados. En iPhone, entra en Configuración → Dispositivos conectados.
- Toca la sesión correspondiente al navegador o al ordenador.
- Selecciona Desconectar.
Hazlo si has usado WhatsApp Web en un ordenador compartido, público o de otra persona. También puedes cerrar la sesión directamente desde el menú de WhatsApp Web si todavía tienes acceso al navegador.

¿El teléfono debe estar conectado todo el tiempo?
No es correcto tratar WhatsApp Web como un simple espejo que exige que el teléfono permanezca conectado a Internet durante toda la sesión. ¿Por qué la cámara del móvil no reconoce el código QR?
El QR no se escanea con la cámara normal del teléfono. Debes abrir el lector desde WhatsApp mediante Dispositivos conectados → Conectar un dispositivo. También puedes mejorar la iluminación, limpiar la lente y actualizar WhatsApp.
