Magis TV is not listed in the Amazon Appstore in the sources reviewed, so you cannot install it through the normal Fire TV app-store process. On a compatible Firestick, installation means sideloading an Android APK with Downloader or installing the APK through ADB.
There is one important limitation: no currently verified Magis TV APK URL was found in the reviewed sources. This guide shows the Fire TV setup and installation process without inventing a download address or reusing a code that belongs to a different app.
Only install an APK from a source you trust, and make sure you have the legal right to watch the content it provides. Amazon does not guarantee the performance or safety of applications installed outside the Appstore.

The standard procedure applies only to Fire TV devices that expose Developer options and Install Unknown Apps.

If your model is not listed, open Settings → My Fire TV. If you see Developer options, the device may support the procedure below. The absence of the menu is not always a software problem; unsupported models may not provide it at all.
1. Install Downloader
- From the Fire TV home screen, open Search.
- Search for Downloader.
- Select the official Downloader app from the results.
- Choose Get or Download. The label varies by Fire OS version.
Do not download a similarly named utility from an unknown publisher. Downloader is only the tool used to retrieve and open the APK; it does not make an untrusted APK safe.
2. Enable permission for Downloader
Current Fire TV software uses a per-app permission rather than the older global switch often described in older guides.
- Open Settings.
- Select My Fire TV.
- Open Developer options.
- Select Install Unknown Apps.
- Highlight Downloader and press the Select button to change it to On.
If you see an old Apps from Unknown Sources setting instead, your Fire OS version may use the older menu. On current supported devices, however, the relevant control is Install Unknown Apps → Downloader → On.

- Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About.
- Highlight the name of the Fire TV device—not the software version.
- Press the Select button seven times.
- Return to My Fire TV and look for Developer options.
If the menu still does not appear, check the model. This sequence cannot add sideloading support to the Fire TV Stick 4K Select or the 2026 Fire TV Stick HD.
3. Obtain a verified Magis TV APK address
Downloader needs one of two things:
- a direct URL ending in, or resolving to, an Android APK file; or
- a valid Downloader short code supplied by the app’s verified distributor.
The reviewed Magis-branded installation result describes the process but does not provide a currently verifiable Magis TV APK address. Therefore, this guide does not publish a made-up URL.

Also, do not use 481352 as a Magis TV code. The indexed page containing that code identifies it as a Downloader code for Flujo TV, not Magis TV. Entering it will not verify or install Magis TV.
Before entering an address in Downloader, check the source carefully. A cloned download page, shortened link, or APK with a different app name can install unwanted software. If the source cannot explain who publishes the APK and what package you are downloading, stop rather than bypassing Fire TV’s warning.
4. Install Magis TV with Downloader
Once you have a direct, trusted APK URL:
- Open Downloader from your Apps list.
- Allow any initial file-access prompts that Downloader requires for its normal operation.
- Enter the complete APK URL in Downloader’s address field.
- Select Go or the equivalent action.
- Wait for the APK to download.
- When Fire TV opens the package installer, review the app name and requested permissions.
- Select Install.
- When installation finishes, choose Done or Open. Use Done if you want to remove the downloaded APK first.
The APK file is only the installer. After installation, you can delete it from Downloader’s file manager to recover storage. Deleting the APK does not remove the installed application.

5. Open the installed app
Amazon’s documented launch path is:
Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → Magis TV → Launch application
A sideloaded app may also appear in the Recent row or under My Library in Apps. If it is not visible on the home screen, use the Manage Installed Applications menu rather than assuming installation failed.
Alternative: install the APK with ADB
Downloader is not the only option. If the APK is already on a computer and ADB is connected to the Fire TV device, Amazon documents this command:

adb install -r <path-to-apk-file>ADB must already be connected to the Fire TV device. If you need a clean installation, uninstall the existing app first or clear its data in Fire TV’s application-management settings. A clean install removes the app’s local data, so use it only after noting any settings or login information you may need.

“Could not install APK because Apps from Unknown Sources”
Downloader does not have permission to install the file. On current devices, go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install Unknown Apps → Downloader → On. Then retry the installation.
Downloader downloads a page instead of an APK
The address is probably a web page, redirect, expired link, or download portal rather than a direct APK URL. Use a source that supplies a current direct file address. Do not assume that any downloaded file is safe simply because Downloader accepted the link.
The APK installs but Magis TV will not run
The reviewed sources do not establish a Magis TV compatibility matrix, supported APK version, package name, or required Android API level. Consequently, compatibility with every Firestick model cannot be guaranteed.

First restart the Fire TV and open the app through Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications. If it still fails, check whether the APK is intended for Android TV or Fire TV rather than a phone-only build. You may also clear the app’s data, uninstall it, and reinstall a known-compatible release. Avoid installing several APKs from unrelated sites in an attempt to find one that works.

Installation conflicts with an older copy
A different signing key or incompatible release can prevent an update. Uninstall the old copy from Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications, then install the new APK. This may delete local app data. If using ADB, adb install -r preserves existing user data and cache when the package can be updated normally.
There is no Developer options menu
Try the seven-select-button sequence under Settings → My Fire TV → About. If the menu remains absent, the Firestick may be one of the models that prohibits sideloading, including the Fire TV Stick 4K Select and the 2026 Fire TV Stick HD.
What not to do
- Do not use the Downloader code 481352 as a Magis TV code; the reviewed source identifies it with Flujo TV.
- Do not rely on an old guide that tells you to enable one global unknown-sources switch if your device shows the newer per-app setting.
- Do not install an APK just because its filename says Magis TV. Confirm the source, file, and publisher.
- Do not expect sideloaded apps to receive the same review, updates, or support as Amazon Appstore applications.
FAQ
Can I install Magis TV directly from the Amazon Appstore?
Magis TV is not listed in the Amazon Appstore in the sources reviewed. On a compatible Fire TV device, installation therefore requires sideloading an Android APK.
What Downloader code installs Magis TV?
No currently verified Magis TV Downloader code was established in the reviewed sources. Do not use 481352: the indexed page containing it identifies that code as belonging to Flujo TV.
Why can’t I find Install Unknown Apps?
Look under Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options. If Developer options is missing, select the Fire TV device name seven times under Settings → My Fire TV → About. Some models, including the Fire TV Stick 4K Select and 2026 Fire TV Stick HD, do not support ordinary APK sideloading.
Is sideloading APKs safe?
Sideloading bypasses the Amazon Appstore review process. Use only a source you trust, inspect the requested permissions, and understand that Amazon does not guarantee the performance or quality of third-party APKs installed from outside the Appstore.
Can I install Magis TV on a Fire TV Stick 4K Select?
No. An Amazon staff response states that the Fire TV Stick 4K Select does not support sideloaded apps or Developer options, so the standard Downloader/APK procedure cannot be used.
The Bottom Line
On a Firestick that supports sideloading, the process is install Downloader → enable Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install Unknown Apps → Downloader → On → enter a verified Magis TV APK URL → install. The reviewed sources do not verify a current Magis TV APK URL or Downloader code, so do not substitute the Flujo TV code 481352. If your Fire TV Stick 4K Select or 2026 Fire TV Stick HD lacks Developer options, this installation method is not available.
