The Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G leads on the published display refresh rate and wired charging speed; Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G lists a larger typical battery for India and a higher-resolution selfie camera. In the India listings available in 2026, the phones’ selected 8GB/128GB configurations are priced close together, but the displayed prices come from different sellers and can change. Neither is an across-the-board winner: choose according to your priorities, and check the exact variant and local listing before buying.
India price comparison: which is cheaper?
Prices below are listing snapshots, not guaranteed checkout prices. Infinix’s official India page showed prices for selected variants, while Xiaomi’s store showed its 8GB/128GB configuration. The 91mobiles figures are separate marketplace snapshots and may not match the seller or offer available when you purchase.
| Phone and configuration | Listing snapshot | Source and context |
|---|---|---|
| Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G, 8GB/128GB | ₹35,999 | Infinix India official listing, 2026; selected variant |
| Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G, 8GB/256GB | ₹39,999 | Infinix India official listing, 2026; selected variant |
| Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, 8GB/128GB | ₹36,999 | Xiaomi India Store, 2026; displayed store price |
| Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G | ₹33,790 | 91mobiles comparison-page marketplace snapshot, 2026 crawl; storage configuration not identified in the supplied listing details |
| Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G | ₹36,998 | 91mobiles comparison-page marketplace snapshot, 2026 crawl; storage configuration not identified in the supplied listing details |
For the official 8GB/128GB India listings, Infinix’s selected variant was ₹1,000 below Xiaomi’s displayed store price at the time those figures were accessed. That is a snapshot comparison, not a dependable long-term price gap. Xiaomi’s displayed ₹49,999 marketing price and its October 2026 ICICI offer terms use a ₹39,999 minimum transaction value for the offer calculation; that minimum is not the same as the store’s displayed ₹36,999 price.

Display: higher refresh rate or slightly larger panel?
Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G
Infinix India lists a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K positioning and a 144Hz refresh rate. Its higher listed refresh rate may appeal to readers who prioritize smoother motion in supported content and interfaces, but the specification alone does not establish how the display looks or performs in everyday use.
Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G
Xiaomi India lists a slightly larger 6.83-inch flat 1.5K AMOLED panel with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The India specifications establish the size and refresh-rate ceiling; Xiaomi UK separately advertises peak brightness up to 3500 nits. That UK brightness claim should not be silently applied to the India model.

On the published India figures, Infinix has the higher refresh-rate number and Xiaomi the larger screen. No independent display testing is established here, so those figures do not settle brightness, color accuracy or outdoor readability.

The capacity and charging-wattage figures are manufacturer specifications, not independent battery-life or charging-time tests. A larger stated capacity does not by itself prove longer runtime, and charging speed can depend on the charger, conditions and use.
UK specifications are different
Xiaomi UK lists the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G with an 8340mAh typical battery, rather than the 9000mAh typical capacity listed for India. The UK page also says a power adapter is not included and describes 67W HyperCharge. Do not combine the UK battery or package contents with India-specific figures when comparing local offers.

Cameras: matching rear resolutions, different selfie figures
Both manufacturers list a 50MP main rear camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. The headline specifications look similar, but matching megapixel counts do not establish equal image quality, and no independent camera comparison is available here.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →For the front camera, Infinix lists 13MP and Xiaomi lists 16MP. Xiaomi therefore has the higher published resolution, but megapixels alone do not show which phone takes better selfies. Consider camera samples and features for the exact regional model if image quality is a deciding factor.

Processor, software and connectivity
Processor specifications
Infinix lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core processor with a stated maximum clock speed of 2.7GHz. Xiaomi India lists a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 octa-core processor with a stated maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. These are different chips, and clock speeds alone cannot establish which phone is faster in real-world use; no equivalent benchmark comparison is established here.
Software listings
Infinix India lists Android 16. Xiaomi India lists HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. These are the published software descriptions, not a comparison of update duration or delivery schedules. Software availability and terms can vary with region and device version.
5G and local compatibility
Infinix says 5G band availability and connectivity vary by region and local provider. Xiaomi likewise notes regional and carrier variation, as well as constraints on eSIM availability. If network compatibility matters, verify the exact regional handset and supported bands with the seller and your carrier rather than relying on the model name alone.

Durability claims: what Xiaomi’s UK tests do and do not show
Xiaomi UK describes IP66/IP68 ratings, a 2-metre, 72-hour static freshwater test under specified laboratory conditions, and SGS certification for a 3-metre drop onto smooth granite. These claims are tied to the stated tests; they are not a guarantee against damage in every real-world fall or liquid exposure. Xiaomi warns that protection may differ outside test conditions and that liquid damage beyond those conditions is not covered. These UK-page claims should not be treated as a universal assurance for every region or use case.
Which phone should you choose?
- Prioritize refresh rate and wired charging: the India Infinix listing has a 144Hz display and 90W wired charging, compared with Xiaomi’s up-to-120Hz display and 67W charging.
- Prioritize listed India battery capacity: Xiaomi’s India specification lists a 9000mAh typical battery, compared with Infinix’s 6500mAh. This is a capacity comparison, not a verified runtime result.
- Prioritize the published selfie-camera resolution: Xiaomi lists 16MP front camera resolution versus Infinix’s 13MP, without establishing which produces better photos.
- Prioritize price: compare the same storage configuration and final checkout terms. The official India snapshots put selected 8GB/128GB variants close together, while prices and offers can change.
- Prioritize confirmed performance, camera quality or battery endurance: do not decide from clocks, megapixels or battery capacity alone; the listed specifications do not provide an equivalent independent test of those outcomes.
Infinix also highlights a customizable Active Matrix Display on the back panel. Its official product FAQ says it can show notifications, calls, weather and battery status, or custom glyph patterns without unlocking the screen. Treat this as a distinctive feature to weigh against your own priorities, rather than evidence that one phone is better overall.
