The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G is the stronger fit if you prioritize a larger listed battery and a 144Hz screen; the Infinix Note Edge offers a sharper 1.5K display and an IP65 rating in the available comparison data. Both are listed with the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, but that does not establish equal real-world performance. Prices vary by country and memory configuration, so compare the exact variants at current sellers rather than relying on a general price gap.

Which screen is better for your priorities?
Choose POVA Curve 2 for a higher refresh rate
Its listed refresh rate reaches 144Hz, compared with 120Hz on the Note Edge. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion and scrolling appear smoother, but it is not a guarantee that every app or game runs at that rate.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Choose Note Edge for more display pixels
The Note Edge’s 1208 × 2644 resolution is higher than the POVA Curve 2’s 1080 × 2364. Both are listed as 6.78-inch AMOLED displays, so the choice is between greater listed pixel resolution and a higher maximum refresh rate—not a difference in screen size or panel type.

Battery capacity, cameras, and performance
Battery capacity is not a runtime test
The POVA Curve 2 is listed with an 8,000mAh battery, while the Note Edge is listed with 6,500mAh; both are listed with 45W charging. The larger capacity gives the POVA Curve 2 the advantage on paper, but actual battery life depends on use and other factors. These capacities do not establish how long either phone lasts in comparable daily use.
Same named chipset, no proven performance tie
Both models are listed with the Dimensity 7100 family of chips. TECNO specifies a 6nm process and speeds up to 2.4GHz for the POVA Curve 2. The shared chipset name is not enough to conclude that gaming, heat, or everyday responsiveness will be identical; no comparative benchmark or hands-on test is established here.

Camera megapixels do not determine photo quality
The listed rear setups are 50MP + 2MP on the POVA Curve 2 and 50MP on the Note Edge, and both list a 13MP front camera. Sensor and lens characteristics, processing, and shooting conditions affect results, so these counts do not show which phone takes better photos.
Water and dust resistance: what IP65 tells you
Gadgets 360 lists the Note Edge as IP65-rated. That rating is a useful protection specification, but it should not be treated as a promise that the phone is waterproof or safe in every exposure. The cited comparison does not list an IP rating for the POVA Curve 2; missing information is not proof that the phone has no protection. Check the rating and warranty terms for the specific regional model before buying.

Price difference: compare like-for-like versions
There is no dependable universal price gap in the available listings. Gadgets 360 listed the Infinix Note Edge in India on 2026-10-07 at ₹23,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹25,999 for 8GB/256GB. Its listing also showed ₹26,999 for a 6GB/128GB version, an apparent anomaly that should be verified with the seller. These are dated India listing prices, not guaranteed current prices.
A 91mobiles comparison result referenced Amazon prices of ₹26,899 for the POVA Curve 2 and ₹24,999 for the Note Edge, but it did not reliably establish matching storage variants or a current price gap. Because marketplace prices change and configurations differ, those figures should not be subtracted to claim one phone is a fixed amount cheaper. Check the same country, seller, RAM and storage, and purchase date for both phones. See the dated Gadgets 360 Note Edge India price listing and treat marketplace references as snapshots, not live quotes.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Pick the POVA Curve 2 if its larger listed 8,000mAh battery or 144Hz maximum refresh rate matters more to you, and the exact regional configuration and price suit your budget.
- Pick the Note Edge if you prefer its higher-resolution 1.5K display or want the IP65 rating reported in the comparison data.
- Do not choose on chipset or camera megapixels alone. The same named chipset does not prove equal performance, and megapixel counts do not establish image quality.
- Before paying, verify the precise RAM/storage configuration, the protection specification for your market, software-update commitments from the manufacturer, and the same-day price. Update details vary across third-party comparisons, so confirm them with the maker for the intended region.
