If your employer has enabled online tax-document access, sign in to ADP and open the W-2 or tax-statements area to view or save your form. The exact menu names depend on your employer’s ADP service. If no W-2 appears, contact your employer’s Payroll or HR team; an ADP login by itself does not guarantee access.
Download your W-2 from ADP in a browser

Go to signin.adp.com. If you do not know which ADP service your employer uses, ask Payroll or HR.

If this is your first time signing in, get the self-service registration code from your employer and complete the registration and identity-verification steps. Use your ADP account credentials, not your employer’s network login. ADP says, “Only your employer can provide you with this code.”

After signing in, look for a W-2, tax statements, or tax documents section. When the employer has enabled the iPayStatements service, ADP says you can view, print, and save an electronic W-2. There is no single set of menu steps that applies to every employer’s ADP setup.

Open the available W-2 and use the page’s save or download option to keep a copy. If you need a paper copy, use the print option.

Can you get an ADP W-2 in the mobile app?
ADP Mobile Solutions can show W-2 tax statements when the employer’s ADP services support them. Availability depends on the employer’s setup; eligible users may be able to sign in with existing ADP credentials. Check the app after confirming with Payroll or HR that mobile tax-document access is enabled. See ADP Mobile Solutions login and support.
If you cannot find or access the W-2
You cannot sign in
Use ADP’s “Forgot Your ID/Password” option to recover access. If you remain locked out or see an authorization problem, contact your current or former employer’s Payroll or HR team. ADP directs employees to their employer for account assistance; see ADP login help.

You need a W-2 from a former employer
Try the ADP account you used while working for that employer. If access no longer works, ask the former employer for a copy. The employer may have removed your access, and ADP says it cannot provide your W-2 directly.
No online W-2 is available
Ask the employer how it will deliver the form. ADP’s employee guide says an employer without online W-2 access must mail or hand-deliver the form by January 31, but the guide does not state a tax year. Confirm the applicable year’s requirements with your employer or an authoritative tax source rather than treating that date as current legal advice. Read ADP’s W-2 and 1099 guide.
Information on the W-2 is wrong
Contact the employer’s Payroll or HR team to request a correction. ADP says the employer handles W-2 corrections.

For a registration code, employer-specific access, missing documents, a former-employer copy, delivery questions, or corrections, start with the employer’s Payroll or HR department. ADP says it cannot supply the employer’s registration code or provide an employee’s W-2 directly. Its employee support page explains where to direct support requests.
