Colorlib lists it as a 2026 release under CC BY 3.0; its roundup says the credit link must remain for commercial use. Check the applicable download-page terms before publishing it.
What does Hero V08 look like?
Colorlib’s Hero V08 page describes a full-screen restaurant opening section built around a dining-room photograph and a dark overlay. A centered serif wordmark anchors a header whose navigation is split to either side. Near the lower left, the design places a headline, short introduction, and gold “Book a table” button. A translucent card displays opening hours, an address, and a note about walk-ins.
Colorlib says the mobile layout keeps the photo at the top, darkens the overlay, and stacks the hours card beneath the text. These are the publisher’s descriptions; the page material reviewed here does not establish independent testing of the downloaded code or its behavior across devices.

Colorlib describes the download as plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, without jQuery, Bootstrap files, or plugins. Its page lists the download at 298 KB. Colorlib says it can be used on its own or dropped into Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects and look the same; treat that as the publisher’s compatibility claim, not an independently verified result.
The distinction matters if you are looking for a Bootstrap jumbotron. Colorlib’s roundup explains that Bootstrap 5 no longer includes the jumbotron component, so developers commonly build a similar large opening block as a hero section instead. Hero V08 is presented as a standalone hero layout, not as a jumbotron component.
Who is Hero V08 suited to?
The composition is aimed at restaurants and other hospitality venues, including cafes and bars, according to Colorlib’s Bootstrap hero and jumbotron roundup. It gives a visitor a prominent booking action while surfacing practical details without requiring an immediate trip to a separate contact page.

The Hero V08 page lists Aigars Silkalns as author, September 2026 as the release month, and CC BY 3.0 as the license. Colorlib’s roundup says its own hero sections are free for personal and commercial projects under CC BY 3.0 as long as the credit link is retained. Because the roundup also distinguishes third-party CodePen examples as having their authors’ own licenses, confirm the terms attached to the specific download you use before deployment.
How does it fit into Colorlib’s larger collection?
Colorlib’s 2026 roundup describes 34 examples: 12 newer Colorlib hero designs and 22 classic jumbotron examples.
